The fit was great, but I did order up a size so I could be certain of it. I used them for dry ice and felt nothing through the gloves. Well constructed also, recommend them.

How is the finger dexterity? Can handle small metal parts? I work on cryogenic machinery.

Pretty flexible, but I bought a large size, as I was just looking for protection for handling and shoveling dry ice. At this price, worth trying out. Order on the smaller side of your size for better grip

Are they safe for handling blocks if ice that will be used for food? Meaning they won't contaminate the ice during handling

Do not know. I would use neoprene or rubber over gloves for sterile food service and keep the leather gloves from getting wet.

Great dexterity in the fingers

These gloves worked out great! I work on helium filled vessels. These gloves fit snug in fingers and provide excellent protection against freezing cold conditions. I am to disassemble and assemble small parts against helium vapor.

warm and soft inside

I bought these to try as a scooter winter riding glove. So far so good but it hasnt got extremely cold here yet. I have smaller sized hands and these fit snug on me. So if you have large hands these would be tight.

Nice gloves that last.

Very effective in the world of Cryogenics. I love my gloves. The company provides thin gloves that ain't worth a damn. Dealing with Iced over hoses and liquid that is -289°! Worth the investment.
