When mine came in, it needed a truss rod adjustment, bridge adjustment (which, even bottomed out the intonation isn't properly set), and work to the nut. The G string slot was filed far too deep, so the string just buzzed.BUT, all of this is fixable. After putting in some work, it's a pretty playable bass.As is (but with flatwound strings, of course), the bass is pretty solid. The finish looks pretty nice, though I think it appears more yellow in person than in the pictures. There's a couple of imperfections in the finish but really nothing too noticeable. The tuning machines seem to hold tune without issue; they're nicer quality than I was expecting.The only thing that's really sub-par would have to be the pickups, but this was honestly to be expected since the bass itself cost less than a nice set of pickups. The fingerboard does not have the big triangular inlays as shown in some of the pictures but does have dot inlays on the side. The fingerboard also needed some conditioner, but no big deal there.I got this bass because I wanted to see how I liked playing a fretless and playing a 5 string. It's worked great for that.
