These dried longans are so fresh and full of flavor. They’re soft, slightly chewy, and naturally sweet without any added sugar or weird aftertaste. I’ve been using them in teas and traditional remedies, and they add a lovely richness—especially when simmered in hot water. You can also snack on them straight out of the bag if you like a chewy, healthy sweet treat. The quality is really noticeable—no dried-out or overly hard pieces. The flavor is different when dried. I added them to steel cut oats with walnuts, flax, raisins and chia seeds and they were delicious once they got some rehydration!

I use dried Longan for tea and wanted to try an online brand. I’ve tried a few brands on Amazon this is by far the worst. It’s white in color which tells me they colored or bleached the fruit before drying. It tastes like chemical and gave me a tummy ache immediately after drinking. Package does not disclose what country this is from, which is very sketchy to leave that information out. Most Longan products are from either Thailand or Vietnam, and since it listed neither I’m afraid i am unable to trust the source.

Because I bought longan meat for the first time, I don’t know how to use it. So I immediately contacted the store, and the store was also very active in dealing with my problem and told me the suggested use of longan meat . Longan meat tastes very good, whether you eat it directly or make tea. Because the quality of the products and the positive attitude of the store, I will repurchase in the future.

The perfect the first bag was early in the season, and they were delicious. The second bag is a lot more concentrated perhaps from older fruit, still delicious, but not the same. I am a new fan to Longan tea and will be using these daily. I will definitely buy again from Nest lady.
