Router good. App sucks.
I needed an update. My old setup was an Arris Sbg7580 Modem/router combo. I wanted a mesh system. I decided in this one due to the plug in satalite. I have my main router in my livingroom and the satalite in my bedroom. My phone doesn't switch from main to the satalite that well. Now the about the app. This app is stupid. All day the other day. It kept telling me I couldn't do anything cause it couldn't connect to my network. I never lost WiFi, just couldn't make any changes to my network, because the app is the only way to access your router. I'm going to try TP-Link Deco xe75 pro to see if I'm keeping this Arris setup.

Good router, ok app
First, I'd like to say that I bought this from Amazon, advertised as a NEW item. It was fulfilled by Amazon.com Services LLC. It arrived in a generic white box that wasn't even sealed. The router was falling out of the box, the power cord was thrown in and tangled, the router itself had blue ink stains on it and dirty fingerprints all over it, and it was missing the quick start guide and I suspect other important paperwork. It was clearly NOT a new item, and I have contacted Amazon about this. So beware of seller! That said, so far, this router is working great! I have it paired with the Motorola MB8611 modem and things are lightning fast! The app to set things up was a little difficult (maybe would've been better if I'd had the paperwork that was supposed to be with it?) to use, but once we (Xfinity tech and I) got everything set up, it was pretty easy to navigate. There are hidden menus that take some time to discover.I have no dead spots in the house (about 1500 sq ft) and a decent range outside of the house, as well. It has definitely improved my tv streaming and everything I do on my cellphone, but since my laptop is considerably old, it only minimally improved its speed. Maybe someday I can afford a new computer, too.

Great Router But…
My phone says “weak security” when I’m connected to the wifi. I have no idea how to configure this router other than that. The wifi signal is very strong so far no issues or nothing and I don’t lag when I play my PC. I just can’t figure out how to change the security protocol.

Easy to Set Up But Online Support Needs Work
Using the mobile app to set up the router using my phone was easy. Unfortunately the mobile app is the only way to interact with the router. You can't connect from a computer using a browser like most routers. I was surprised that you can't blacklist a device's MAC address to prevent it from trying to connect. Lastly, I tried to use the Arris support site to confirm those two issues. The navigation on the site kept going in a circle taking me back where I started.

Good range coverage with satellite. It’s just what I need for my house.
I couldn’t be more happy. This is what my high electrical outlet was made for. The satellite is way above everything and with my router also up in the upper closet’s shelf the wi-fi signal goes uninterrupted. I love the looks of it, you can adjust the brightness on both, that blue light is just beautiful. My house is 1,870 sqft so the main router can easily cover the whole house and garage with up to 490mbps with Spectrum Ultra Internet 400. The reason for the satellite is for the front outside of my house. I listen to talk radio when I’m working my yard and without the extender I lose signal on both sides of the house corners. The addition of the satellite gets me all the way to the sidewalk across my street and able to get up to 100mbps. The transition from the router to satellite is FLAWLESS. I never notice any loss of signals so it’s as reliable as any other mesh routers. I tried several mesh routers, Asus XT8, Orbi RBK752, TP-Link X68, Asus RT-AX92U, eero Pro 6. All excellent mesh routers, but the idea of having a satellite up high on the wall was the one thing Arris W122 beat them all. Eero offers a $18 wall mount but although it doesn’t look that bad…is not as nice looking as the W122. Erro Pro 6 was the best to install out of the box. I mean…the REAL plug and play of them all, but Arlo W122 was not hard at all. Orbi is by far the worst first time to install. I’m very pleased with the Arris W122 and highly recommended.

What an improvement!
I can’t say enough good things about this mesh system. Coverage is more than enough to cover 3,400 sq ft and about 50-60 connected devices (lights, outlets, cameras, devices etc.). Went from a MeshForce system to this and my wireless speeds went from about 140mbs to 450mbs. The real kicker is I pay for a 400mbs connection. Do yourself a favor and just buy this if you are thinking about upgrading. No regrets here!

Amazing router
I use this in a big house and it is able to transfer the signal to all corners of the house. I use it on 5 ghz as well as 2.4 ghz and it works perfectly fine. It is also small and compact so it is practically unnoticeable in the corner of the room.I would 100% recommend this router.

Best Solution
I'm a tech guy and I've tried every type of wireless router to still have to reboot the bloody thing every other day and when they are working fine they are very choppy and unreliable with a weak signal.I got the idea to buy this router because my cable company uses them and I've never had an issue when I've had one, so I'd give this a go, and it worked. From the point that I connected it all my problems were solved and has a great range - even when you don't have the highest signal, you still get seamless service which wasn't the case for the other routers I had tried. If you think your internet is the problem, try changing your router to one of these first to be sure, that's what I was thinking until I got this router, now superfast.I'd consider this brand professional grade.

Funciona bien lo malo que no tiene actualizaciones de firmware, si está en oferta vale la pena, si está a su precio normal la verdad no
