I’m fairly new to candy-making, but I ordered this for a recent batch of gummy bears, and it worked very well. It blended well into my mixture, and my recipe turned out exactly as planned. My favorite aspect was the packaging — it reseals well, and keeps the sorbitol airtightly stored with minimal frustration.

Works for homemade gummies

My grandgirls and I wanted to make gummies that came closer to the Haribo gummies we all love. The recipe called for Sorbitol, so we tried it. Works fine ... the consistency and texture of our gummies was a little closer to the Haribo gummies than the previous recipe we used (sans Sorbitol). Haven't tried anything else yet.
