I can’t complain, the tape gets wet enough, the alignment of the tape is not a problem, cuts well, pretty easy to use , I know there are much easier and more expensive ones out there but for a started this is really good !

Definitely doesn’t have the highest build quality, but it’s perfectly functional. Cuts the tape well and applies the water fairly smoothly. This is my first time using this sort of water activated tape and overall I’m fairly impressed.

I've been sealing about 10 boxes a day for a year with this and it's in rough shape but it still works. The metal bar that holds the roll of tape fell off a long time ago, the bottom gets gross and sticky easily and has started to deteriorate. But for the price the fact this is still the tool I'm using is impressive.

Been wanting a unit such as this for years. The price was finally right so I jump on it. The body and guides are constructed of a sturdy ABS plastic. I thought the body might be painted metal, alas not. But that is OK, because corrosion won't corrupt this otherwise attractive unit. It comes in a white box, surrounded by an inexpensive drawstring bag, with a clear plastic bag around the unit. It even contains three spare screws for the guides. Plus, an owner's manual. If you unscrew the white roller closest to the cutter there are two L-brackets on the bottom to screw the unit to a tabletop, or other piece of heavy board you may have. That means using a cup of water to fill the reservoir. You can rest your tape on the provided bar guide, or seat it on the bottom rollers. The hard part is doing the under/over/under paper tape feed. The roller is a textured cloth which really soaks up the water and does not appear to gum up after the bit of time I used it. I simply give the roller a slight spin to wet the roller, then coax the tape with the white roller nearest the cutting section. It's simply a matter of eyeballing the length you desire. Pull up and tear. Press, smooth and hold a few seconds for the tape to secure. I already fixed up a box and re-enforced the bottom of another box. I even repaired a large Kraft paper bag (remember those) because I want to continue using it for storage. The only sad part is I am currently out of things to tape.

We have an electric paper tape dispensing machine that recently broke. So we bought this as a temporary way of packing up our boxes but we often pack 20 or 30 a day and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone doing that kind of volume. But if you’re just packing 5 to 10 boxes a day this will do the job but it has some issues. With our electric tape dispenser the tape is always evenly moistened from end to end perfectly but with this manual version I kept getting dry edges and would have to dip my fingers in some water and wet the edge myself after I played it to the box. I couldn’t figure out why this was happening so I literally had to start putting light pressure across the face of the tape as it rolled across the rolling wheel that is wet. The other issue I had was the tape kept skewing sideways and trying to run off the wheel entirely and and I fought with that for two days until we got a replacement electric tape machine in. So I would say if you are doing low volume of packing, this is much better than the plastic tape but if you’re a serious shipper I would not recommend this at all. The build quality seems decent and I couldn’t really see anything wrong with the way it’s designed But it just didn’t work smoothly and consistently for us.

Solid as expected. So far would recommend I will update if that changes. Only thing that could be better is the blade.

I have wanted to switch from plastic packing tape for a while. Not only am I happy with the switch, but this dispenser makes the switch a major upgrade. I can't believe how much easier this product makes packing. No more struggling with lost ends and awkward hand held dispensers. I am going pro.

No pude devolverlo pero no lo recomendaria, el corte no lo hace bien, no pesa y se mueve mucho, el rodillo no moja lo suficientemente bien para que active la cinta engomada, dinero tirado a la basura, no lo recomiendo
