What a sweet little gem of a book!
I found this was a very helpful and informative little book, and unlike another reviewer, I have taken the time to actually READ it. In all fairness, I think it took more time to find things to criticize arbitrarily to make it seem like a valid review and attach a few useless photos to said review, but I’m not judging. That said, as someone who DID read the book, my favorite part was that the author tells you which crystals to use with each spread. I am not one to use crystals regularly with my readings because I was never taught to use them, but this opens up a whole new world for me. I also find the material itself is great for self-exploration, but I can already think of a few clients that I might want to use these spreads with. With a little adaptation, these will blend well into my regular Tarot practice.Another thing I was happy to see was that it was missing the same intro to Tarot that plagues other books. Most of the books I have encountered spend way too much time going over history or other randomness that not every reader wants or needs. KUDOS to the author for getting to the point quickly! She tells you what she is going to cover; she gets in, does it, and gets out of your way so you can go about the business of actually using the spreads. Hooray!!! By the way, the book tells you in several places it will cover 20 spreads, and it does so beautifully, cleanly, and concretely. All in all, it's a fun little book that you can read in one sitting, but you are going to want to take your time with it. Play around and experiment with the spreads, see how you feel with them. Try the crystals if you wish, and go from there. The book is small, yes, but it packs a real punch when you take it out for a test drive. I love it, and this is one book on Tarot spreads that I am glad I put in my library.

A must have for those using tarot as a personal development tool
Perfect size to slip into your favorite tarot bag and take with you. Love the awesome spreads geared towards empaths and the nuggets of suggestions included throughout the book for quick answers to questions you seek answers to or for general advice. Each spread provides a list of crystals you can use to enhance the reading experience. I love this little book and am so happy I came across a discussion about it on a tarot development group I belong to. I am a tarot nerd and love learning new ways of working with my cards. A definite must have for those using tarot as a personal development tool! (also has neat exercises you can do to practice your tarot skills and understanding of each card)

Not worth seventeen dollars...
I just received it and haven't read it yet, but even if the content is awesome it still won't be worth seventeen dollars. First off it's not spiral bound, so it won't conveniently lay flat. The spiral bound appearance seems to have come from photocopying an original spiral bound edition for the cover art. Second it is small and very thin with only 45 pages. Very little content for the dollar amount. Third the text is small, fine and gray so reading will be an eye strain. This book will be initially worth the price if it's reduced to less than half the price. The quality and quantity is similar to elementary school "scholastic books." Now if it was larger format and actually spiral bound it it would be more readable and worth half the price charged...
