If the beads have changed color, and the bag weighs 66gm or 2.3 oz it is saturated wet and needs to be regenerated / dried. Be careful, the bag will be very hot! **Q: How many of these packets to use in 18 gal Rubbermaid bins?** A: 1 packet per 30 liters or 1 cu ft **Q: Will these work to get funky odors out of a handbag?** A: I've never had that situation arise. My thought is that no, odors would not be eliminated as they would likely become part of surrounding "stuff" in the container prior to moisture elimination. But what do I know.
