If Youโre Building Your First Camera Rig, This. Is. It.
This was a purchase for us, and we were looking for something pretty specific: a value-priced touchscreen monitor that we could keep in a camera bag and throw onto one of our full-frame cameras when weโre shooting with a cage and top handle. We werenโt looking for a high-end production monitor. We wanted something inexpensive enough to live in the bag, capable enough to be genuinely useful, and ready when weโre doing the kind of shoot where the little screen on the back of the camera just isnโt enough. The 7-inch screen is a huge improvement for our primary purpose: making absolutely sure the shot is framed the way we think it is. When the camera is built into a cage with a handle and other accessories, having that larger screen positioned where we want it makes the entire rig easier to work with. And at 300 grams, it doesnโt add a ridiculous amount of weight to the setup. Pros * 7-inch touchscreen gives us a much better view for framing * 1280x800 IPS display * Focus peaking, histogram, zebras and false color when we need more than framing * Lightweight enough for a cage-and-handle rig * HDMI input with 4K signal support * Multiple power options * Two NP-F550 batteries included * Includes full-size, Mini and Micro HDMI cables * Sunshade and mounting hardware included * Excellent starter monitor for someone building their first rig Cons * At 400 nits, this isnโt an ultra-bright outdoor production monitor * 1280x800 isnโt a particularly high-resolution display by current standards * More experienced shooters with demanding outdoor or production requirements may eventually want something considerably brighter and more sophisticated Neither of those first two points bothers us much because they arenโt what we bought it for. Ease of Use The complete kit deserves some credit here. It came with two F550 batteries and three different HDMI cables โ full-size HDMI, Mini HDMI and Micro HDMI. That meant we didnโt get the monitor home and immediately discover we needed to go shopping for another battery or the correct cable before we could actually use it. Thatโs how a starter kit ought to be packaged. Value for Money This is where weโre super happy with the purchase. There are considerably more sophisticated field monitors available. There are also considerably more expensive ones. For something we can keep in the bag and mount when a shoot calls for a larger display, this gives us the features weโre actually going to use without turning a secondary monitor into a major investment. The two included batteries and assortment of cables add considerably to that value. Bottom Line Our primary reason for buying this was simple: give us a bigger, better view so we know the shot is framed correctly when one of our full-frame cameras is built into a cage-and-handle rig. It does that, while also giving us focus and exposure tools we can call on when we need them. If youโre new to building out a camera rig and want a solid, value-priced monitor that comes with virtually everything you need to get started: This. Is. It. โญโญโญโญโญ

I like it.
Hooked this up to the HDMI output of my Canon 5D Mk IV. I tried several other hook ups and none of them worked. They all resulted in the Canon freezing up and required me to disconnect it/them and reboot everything. This hook up works great. I can see the output of the camera just fine and I especially like that I can zoom this monitor in for focusing. I was also able to turn on the crosshair option, so I can see the center of the field, for composition. I like the price too. I am happy.

Helps to see my shots
This is my first monitor, I purchased this monitor so I may see my shots better than using the viewfinder/3 inch screen on my Canon 5DM4. I had already purchased a battery adapter to work with my existing batteries. Pros: great size, great backlight especially with the sunshade provided, very articulate with included ball head. Cons: I must say that every time I power off the monitor, then on, the CAMERA MODE category on the monitor's screen turns OFF. I have to go through the settings and turn it on back to 1080i to get a full screen picture after I take my shot. Also, there is NO BATTERY INDICATOR to tell you how much battery you have left to power the monitor. No touch screen to change camera settings on the monitor-this is for viewing only, and you will have to rely on using your camera's physical settings, because the Canon 5DM4 does not give you a dual screen on its own viewfinder in camera mode. You can use both screens in video mode, but you need to go into settings to enable it. I recommend getting a separate rig to mount this and not using the hotshoe although you could, but you would have to take it off when moving shot to shot unless you are doing video. For the price, it's a decent first monitor, and I can see where shooting videos would be a plus.

Does Not Work As Advertised. Very Misleading.
Even though it says it will display your 4k camera footage, it in fact does not. I know this because I exchanged the first one for a new one, thinking that it was defective. Turns out the second operated the exact same. It worked one time, and when you reconnect it, there is no signal again. Since this is my first monitor Iโm very disappointed. Especially when they say it does things that it does not. Also, it will not display anything but a black screen after you press record. So if you are planning on shooting video with this, think again. Yes it turns on. Yes it will display 1080p (sometimes, even that is spotty). No it is not worth that price. Itโs probably worth about $50 max. Would NOT recommend this to anyone serious about their work. Thereโs no touch screen so Iโm not even sure why they say anything about that. In my opinion, this is false advertising.

Reliable Second FEELWORLD FW759 Monitor โ Great for Video Shoots
This is my second FEELWORLD FW759 monitor for camera use. I rely on them during video shoots, and I have no complaints about their performance. Both monitors work flawlessly, look great, and have proven to be very reliable. I use them with both external power supply and battery power via D-Tap.

It does not come with a battery or power supply
Ok, so I get it. This is mentioned (buried) in the product description. But this item is worthless without a battery pack or power cord. So why even bother? Amazon and the manufacture give you no input or suggestion as to where you should purchase these items. They donโt even give you guidance about WHAT batteries (they appear to need a special sized lithium battery - not exactly something you find in your battery drawer just laying around) or power cords you need in the description so you can track them down yourself while you purchase it. I mean, talk about poor customer service and product design! Maybe this is a common thing for professional photographers to deal with, but I am not one. This was purchased for work project where we were using a camera to take picture scans of a large folio. We bought it so we would not have to stand on a chair over the frame. Still ended up standing on a chair because we opened the product only to discover we had to track down additional specially pieces just to make it work. Which means it is worthless to us. I donโt need to spend precious time tracking down parts that should just be included with an electronic device. So it will be returned.

Solid Budget Monitor
This monitor handles 1080p and 4K inputs without any issues and comes with useful features like a histogram, audio dB monitor, contrast zones, and zebra patterns. Even though it outputs at 1280x800, let's not forget this is a 7 inch monitor, and for this size, the resolution is sharp and more than enough. You wonโt need anything higher for such a compact screen. It is lightweight, portable, and the sunshade is perfect for outdoor shoots. Great value for DSLR video work... You can use USB C to HDMI and connect it to a smart phone too.

As advertised.
I do wedding and street photography. Having a large preview screen is very handy. This is a good screen for the value and I'm happy with the purchase. Would be good if sold as a kit to include batteries.

Sharp, Bright & Portable โ Excellent Field Monitor for Video
The FEELWORLD FW759 7" monitor is okay, but has issues connecting. The IPS screen is crisp (1280x800), bright enough for outdoor use with the sunshade, and supports 4K HDMI input. Slim and lightweight, perfect for my DSLR setup. Accurate colors and helpful tools for focus and exposure. Great build quality and makes shooting video so much easier.
