Roughly how many pieces would equal 1 oz of fresh green tripe?

Hi Amy, Thank you for your enquiry. K9 Natural Beef Green Tripe pallets can differ in size based on seasonal variation. This is due to us only using the best, freshest ingredients sourced in New Zealand and can result in slight changes in the product. We recommend measuring the amount of food you wish to feed your dog, although 1oz is consistent with two tablespoons of product. Warm regards, The Team at K9 Natural

Is this okay to feed 8 week old puppy?

I would not feed it to an 8 week old puppy. It is a good product but it is extremely high in protein and if a dog gets too much protein it can cause convulsions. This happened with my 8 year old lab. If you want to feed it I recommend that you be very cautious, only give a 1/2 inch piece once a day, and watch your dog carefully for any signs of convulsions such as drooling or slobbering. Good luck.
