First, I bought one with clear sides, but light came in and makes reflections, so I returned it and bought a black one. I tried it out once only and it worked great. Even with my rather large nose. There is plenty of room to get my fingers around the nose part to clear my ears. As will all masks, the manufacturing film needs to be removed from the inside of the lens to prevent fogging. I rubbed it with toothpaste for a couple of hours while watching a movie. I think that worked pretty well.I will not use the snorkel. I still have my old snorkel and will use that. The old pink one, see photo, has an open passage and I can get lots of air from it. I need a lot of air while swimming! The black/purple snorkel that came with this set, has corrugations and has a top water-entry-preventer, and I cannot get enough air through it. I see no need for a top restriction.
