Excellent quality foam bed, which is actually waterproof! When I removed the fabric cover removed for washing I discovered the foam mattress is within another cover, which is a waterproof plastic that is also zipped so it can be removed. My 35kg, very tall, Goldador loves his new bed. The mattress provides good support and its cover is double sided providing a soft fur side for the winter and cotton feel side for warmer summer months. Compared to other beds I have bought him, this mattress offered great value for money for its size and looks so good and performs so well we have just bought him another one for the back of the car.

Got the item and noticed that the foam inside was as thin as it could possibly be due to the vacuum packing. Left it for 48hrs as suggested and no difference. I tried the technique of lifting the 'foam triangles' as written in another review to no avail until I tried pulling and squeezing them (see video) almost akin to milking a cow. It's a shame that you have to do this but none the less the item works as it should after this. I just hope that my pup appreciates the effort LOL. Will update if anything changes.

Sprung into great mattress. Firm based for crate

This washable dog mattress felt like a real find at first. My puppy loved it, the dual-sided design is a good idea, with a soft faux fur side for warmth and a smoother side for cooler sleeping that my dog seemed to enjoy. I could even regularly hear her flipping the mattress herself.😂 The mattress is reasonably well constructed overall, with a fairly solid inner foam section protected by a plastic cover material (not removable), and a removable fabric cover that’s easy to take off and wash. Although the instructions suggest air drying, I found it tumble dried well without any issues. It fit nicely in the crate, didn’t slip around, and was easy to remove, clean, and put back together. In terms of cleaning and general usability, it performs well. However, I wouldn’t describe it as waterproof, the outer fabric is absorbent rather than water-resistant although the inner section is protected from liquids. The main drawback is durability, particularly for younger dogs. The embroidered logo quickly became a target for chewing and was removed in no time. More importantly, the zip design and how it’s integrated into the cover make it vulnerable, my dog was able to get to it and damage the cover quite easily. Because of this, I’d say this product is better suited to calmer, more mature or older dogs rather than puppies or dogs that tend to chew. For more destructive or curious dogs, the cover is unlikely to last very long. It’s also unclear whether replacement covers are readily available, which would be a big improvement. Including a spare cover or reinforcing the zip area would make a significant difference. Overall, a comfortable and practical mattress with good features, but let down by durability issues in the cover. If these were to be rectified, I would certainly buy again.

This is the second one we have purchased. One for the lounge and 1 for the bedroom. He loves them.

Best buy ever for the large crate my GSD sleeps in. (He sleeps in it from choice before anyone starts worrying, the door is always open). Kye has Semintendinosis & gracious myopathy, probably miss spelled but google will find it, this means he has an extremely rare condition where his back leg muscles are hardening and contracting, he hates big soft beds and I hate him deciding that my stone tiled floor is preferable. This bed hits the right balance it is not too pillow like, soft but not so soft he has trouble getting up from it. From myself & Kye a heartfelt thank you.

Not actually waterproof, not suitable for incontinent dogs. The liner leaks very easily.

Horrible feel to it, low quality, noisy

The fabric is soft and the texture of it makes it look nice and not so much like a functional dog bed in my livingroom. It's subtle and doesn't look out of place. I really like that the cover can come off for washing because my dog chews his bones and treats on top of it. We have only tried it "furry side up" but it does have a different fabric on the flip side that's more like canvas. Unlike pillow/squishy beds, my dog doesn't try to wrestle with it and drag it around. I expect it will last longer since he doesn't rough house with this style of bed. That has been a nice surprise because we were going through beds too quickly. It took a couple days to puff out. I thought it was too flat at first but after expanding it is a nice depth. Inside is egg carton foam, not orthopedic/memory foam. It's squishy enough for my three year old but I'd probably want a denser foam for a senior dog with much older joints and bones. We did not try this mat in a crate but the shape would lend itself very nicely for that use. The cost is appropriate for the quality and the nice look of it. EDIT: We had a a spill on the bed yesterday. Thankfully water and not pee. The liquid stayed on-top and didn't get absorbed in quickly so it was a very easy clean up. I was quite impressed with the fabric.
