Monoprice Onix Series Digital Coaxial Audio/Video RCA Subwoofer CL2 Rated Cable, RG-6/U 75-ohm 3ft Black

Previously i had a decent enough 3 ft coax cable connecting an old bluray player's digital out to a mini-amp with an onboard DAC, and although cds played in the bluray sounded great to excellent, I'd periodically get little half-second glitches or cuts in the audio. Aggravating, especially since it didn't happen with many cds (all original / not burned).I did a bunch of research and found that coax cables that are short, < .5m / 3ft, might induce something called signal reflection that can cause the DAC to lose signal synch (not the technical term, I'm paraphrasing) and cut while it "catches back up" on the signal processing. Weird, and not something I had ever experienced. So I picked up this very beefy 12 ft coax cable and voila, things are pristine and sound excellent. I have the excess length coiled up with a tie wrap to keep things neat, and if space is at a premium in your setup, this cable does not coil up into tight little loops. It's stiff, and should not be kinked, again based on research.Only drawback or negative is that the ends are metal encased - great for insulation, I assume - but could be too large for tight coax jack placement situations on your components. Other than that, I'm super satisfied. Also the 12 ft length happened to be on sale for about half the price of the 6 footer. Amazon must've had excess stock of the 12 footers.

I'll change it if something happens.- Feels quality- Interesting screw locking onto the port, but with the heavy cable I recommend thinking about support.- Signal is clean when used for Component Video for a Gamcube setup. So properly labeled at 75ohm. I just bought 3 of the 12ft cables.

I added a second subwoofer to my home theater setup and needed another coax cable to send the signal to it. This cable feels like a quality piece in hand and has worked great in my HT setup. With both 10 inch subs firing you can really feel the dramatic moments in movies in your chest. It gives it that Movie Theater experience in my home. If you want a quality RCA cable for a price that won’t break the bank, look no further.

The best product I bought for my subwoofer. Since I have two now had to get different length and I love having a two subwoofer setup for my home theater. But they fit well and love the locking mechanism. An that it feels nice and tough.

Extremely high quality RCA patch cables. It is worth mentioning that these cables feature ends with adjustable tension threaded black anodized aluminum collars. Extend the collars further out over the tensioning cups will increase the clamping force of the connector. These ends are somewhat larger than typical non-serviceable plastic one-piece RCA connectors. These tend to fit modern HIFI equipment and applications just fine, but for most vintage gear with limited space between the inputs, clearance may be an issue. These fit the recessed inputs of my Wiim Ultra without issue, but it's close.My primary (only) complaint would be that the ends are distinguishable from left to right as they are both the same color (black with red accents). They are individual cables bound together with (3) 1" lengths of heat shrink tuning. I used appropriately sized red heat shrink tuning at each end of one cable to easily identify left from right, but it's only a slight inconvenience as once they're plugged in to the proper channel, they typically stay plugged in for extended periods of time.Best quality cable for the money I've ever used in my 30* years of fooling with audio equipment.

These cables look great and I used them for runs behind walls when we built.our house and so far no issues.The one frustration that I have with them is the connector is very deep compared to other competing cables and does not bend so make sure you have enough room behind your devices to accommodate.

The Monoprice Onix Series Digital Coaxial Audio/Video RCA Subwoofer CL2 Rated Cable is a very nice cable you'll be happy to own. I really like the screw-to-tighten feature: this is the first RCA cable I've had that can be tightened and it works very well. I used two of these for my sub woofers and appreciate the robust construction. Like most things from Monoprice you generally get a great deal.

Un cable excepcional. Robusto de execelentes materiales, funcional con entrega de sonido nítido. Dudaba si se conectaría bien en WiiM Pro Plus, por lo que está "embutido" el conector hembra en éste... entró sin problema. La fijación a los dispositivos en excelente, con esa roscaby queda bien fija.Según las especificaciones entrega 75 Ohm. Lo que puedo comentar que Qobuz a través del WiiM definitivamente es Hi Res. Es un cable coaxial excelente.
