Best oil there is? Quite possibly...
I bought this oil for my 2000 Dodge Durango 4.7L V8 SLT 4x4 which has around 150k miles on it. I feel I got a very good price on this oil and it's very long lasting. You can go many more miles on this synthetic oil VS. regular oil. This oil is also supposed to add a little horsepower, torque and fuel mileage to the engine VS. regular oil because it provides lesser friction inside the engine. I only put around 5k miles on my Durango a year and this oil lasts the entire 5k miles, no problem.

Excellent motor oil for older cars
This has correct zinc content to protect older flat-tappet engines. The engine in my Saab V4 immediately started running more quietly after I changed out the old oil for this. I'm going to keep using it.

seems pretty good. time will tell
This seems to be a decent oil. Unlike most other reviews I didn't see a notable improvement in performance or mileage etc. However I did notice about an overall 5 psi increase in oil pressure on my mechanical gauge I had put in a while back. I had always ran M1 10-30 oil. Then i decided switch to the RP API licensed oil on my prior oil change and I didn't notice anything different. Perhaps new the pressure increase on the RP HPS oil is from RP's higher additive content? Or could be a coincidence. Oh if any other people are curious this is being used in my 94 dodge ram 1500 5.2l that i tow with. Its also got 220,000. Also thought I'd note. The purple dye in RP oil might be useless to some but I've found it quite useful for checking the oil level as oil with no dye is hard to see when clean.

performance when you need it.
think about it. this stuff is for your engine. use it and you'll see the difference compared to mobil 1. mobil 1 is good, dont get me wrong, but this stuff is better. i feel like my honda s2000 engine is more responsive then the traditional synthetic oil. also the engine is more quieter and more rev happy. engine start fast in the cold morning no problem. not sure if i notice an increase of mpg. not much more money then mobil 1. if you care about your engine. get the best. this is in my opinion, the best street use motor oil.

Reduced oil consumtion on 04 Infiniti I35
I own a 2004 Infiniti I35 witch is basically and 03 Nissan Maxima. Prior to using this oil I was using the Royal Purple API licensed full synthetic oil. This car has a tendency to burn oil. And after searching online forums I found out that for this motor that's pretty common. The car was burning about half a quart every thousand miles. This issue was not helped at all since I'm a pretty aggressive driver. So needless to say I wanted to do something about the oil because I have ruined a motor from oil starvation and don't really want to change my driving habits that contribute to the problem. So I figured I'd give this oil a try and see if it alleviated this issue. After a thousand miles of regular driving, witch I have not taken it easy on the car, I checked the oil and it had dropped as usual but not as much as before. Instead of the usual half quart that i would have to ad I only added 1/4 of a quart. So at this point I'm very satisfied with my purchase. As far as increased performance or higher gas mileage, I don't see or notice a difference with the HPS as opposed to the regular full synthetic.

Close to as good as it gets.
Close to as good as it gets. Only thing I run in my GM Performance Parts ZZ4 crate engine. Had switch to Mobil 1 for a short time simply because it was less expensive. Found out it definitely doesn't keep the engine as clean as Royal Purple. Engine has over 87,000 miles on it. Recently had the intake manifold off for some modifications and the engine was totally clean inside. Only oil I have use in the past that I find is a little better is Amsoil. For me they have prices themselves out of a good customer. Royal Purple serves me well.
