I love these! I make a lot of soups, stews and stocks. I hated having to skim the scum that develops. These make that easy and satisfying. Getting rid of the scum allows for a clear broth and it just looks great for the finished product.

Simple kitchen tools everyone needs to have

I cook a lot of different pastas and these are great for skimming them out of the water once they start floating. The water drains out quickly and are easy to wash up afterwards.

The fine mesh 3 pack. The mesh is very fine, which is perfect for my needs. Others find the mesh too fine. I though I would use the smaller one, but ended up using the middle size. I anticipate uses for all 3 sizes. Making Chili Crisp I need to cook the onions in oil, them strain them out before cooking other ingredients. I got these after chasing those onion bits around with a slotted spoon. The handle does not heat up in the boiling oil. The bowl to handle connection is sturdy enough to allow scraping the sides and bottom of the pan. I don't expect you could really reef on that connection - but it's not the tool for that job. Others have noted that they are hard to clean, and I expect that may be true for some foods. I found it fairly easy to gently scrub off the cooked on onion bits.

The fine mesh works perfectly for straining grease, gravy, and foam, while the long handle keeps hands safe from heat. The stainless steel is sturdy and durable, and having three sizes makes it easy to tackle different cooking tasks. Great quality and super useful
