Got it yesterday. Took it out today for the second time and the tip broke while reeling small bass. very disappointing. Reached out to Plusinno, let's see if they will send me a replacement, if they do and the replacement doesn't break after a few uses, I'll change the rating. Reel seems solid and decent so far. Update: Although the initial experience was disappointing, Plusinno customer service was great. It takes them a bit to respond, but they care about the customer and their product. They sent me a replacement pole. I was also surprised to know that the second pole is 2.7 mts, which was much longer than the one I originally got, because that one was out of stock. Great work Plusinno!!

Recommend it! I’ve caught countless stripped bass, cat fish, and trout with this pole. For the price it’s very solid! And it’s so easy to transport. I have a few other rods that I use but I always bring this one along because it’s so versatile and easy to carry.

We actually keep two of these PLUSINNO combos in our motorcycle saddle bags, and they’ve held up great. The compact size makes them easy to store without taking up much space, and the light weight means they don’t add bulk on long rides. Each rod extends smoothly and feels sturdy once it’s set up. The reel is surprisingly good for the price, smooth and quiet, with no line tangles so far. I received it as a gift, it quickly became my go to rod. It's easy to collapse and carry. It has great feel and response for setting hooks after bites. The folding handle is great for added compact design and easy to carry. Works great for Crappie and Bass. If the bail didn't sometimes spring too early when casting id score it a 5 for price and quality. That is my only gripe. Will recommend to not be too rough when collapsing because the tip is awful thin and could snap.

I love this thing. Just as advertised but look up anchor knot. Does not come pre loaded with string. I liked the compactness while keeping the sturdiness of a regular rod. Reel is good quality too

I really liked this setup. The lures it came with are garbage, but having a rod and reel that can fit in my backpack is great. Unfortunately after fishing with this maybe 4 times, the tip of the rod snapped during a cast with a small lightweight lure. I’d return it if it wasn’t past the return window. Really disappointed.

Frequently catches when casting. Still considering returning. Wonderful when it casts correctly.

Portable and fun. Very convenient for traveling with me all the time, I have it in the trunk of my car. I also use it for catching live bait when going to the pier.
