I use lavender for burns and to help sleep n it works great for both. We use lavindin for daytime use. It helps keep ppl awake they say. We haven't seen that effect but it works for what we need it for. Not moldy. Smells good.

It has a great fragrance. I drop some in water, set in my window seal to prevent mosquitoes from getting in my house. Works well.
