Wish I'd gotten the blue, didn't see it was an option!This is a little smaller than I expected but it's immensely comfortable and practical. The finger rest is just perfectly sized, the plastic has a perfect texture, and it feels like a high quality plastic. The brass nib holder is RIGHT HANDED ONLY. There are left handed oblique holders, but this is not one. The holder is very smooth and secure, and lines the nib up perfectly with the center line of the pen.If you're into fountain pens, this pen is almost exactly the length of a pilot/platinum desk pen.The pouch is usable, if kind of pointless, but the wax seal on it is pointless and I immediately pulled it off. Will definitely use it for a fountain pen though, it's actually quite a perfect size for my visconti homosapiens maxi.You can remove the oblique mount easily (slides in and out easily and securely) and use it as a straight nib holder. I have several straight holders already so this will never be used that way, but I tried it out and while the holder is plastic, again, the fitment is smooth and secure.I use it with zebra comic G nibs primarily. absolutely awesome combo.Honestly, my only complaint is that I didn't buy the cooler looking blue one. This nib holder is a slam dunk.

I can’t say enough about this nib holder and the amazing caromed service the seller provides. The first time I ordered it, the amazon envelope arrived empty, but after contacting amazon customer service and the seller as well, both responded marvelously and I finally got my second order delivered pretty quickly.The product itself is beyond my expectations. Really high quality and perfect for my calligraphy work. All of my favorite nibs (Hunt 101, Blue Pumpkin, Hiro 40, Gillott 303) Fit perfect! And it’s a really comfortable holder to write with. I’ve work using it for more than 2 hours in a row and I don’t feel any disconforme on my hand. The grip is really good.Also, the material is perfect. I love the fact it is made out of plastic because makes it wayyyy easier to clean than wooden ones.And finally, the price. That is another plus on this holder, it is super affordable!

Relatively new to calligraphy and have so far bought 2 of these oblique pens. Both are fantastic. Love the nib holder because it is pliable enough to bend into whichever position works best for you. The pen is a nice size and is molded well to fit nicely in my hand. Enjoyed the seller’s personal touches like the wax seal on the bag and the hand-written note.

I'm not a calligraphy expert so I cant go into much detail about nib holder, but I'm pretty sure there isn't much to tell in the first place.The pen is comfortable, I like the feel of it. It is also sturdy, at least to me. It doesnt feel like you might break it when you hold it. There isnt really much to talk about with it but I think it is great.

I really like this pen holder. It has a soft feel and I like the removeable brass flange.The flange was damaged though in the shipping box by a loose ream of paper sliding around!

Like the feel of the thicker center ergonomic grip, the flange is easy to attach nibs, it's much easier to use than the Speedball one for attaching nibs.

Works great! It holds a nib, then I hold the pen body as usual and I can see the line I am working on. No unusual and uncomfortable body positions to make beautiful calligraphy letters!
