Cheaper isn't always the best but this works great. It's adjustable, I never had a problem with water so it may be waterproof. My dogs did chew it so it's not durable for dogs. Take it off a night and you should be fine. I would recommend it to others looking for something to assist in training your pets.Battery The battery life if the remote is fantastic. However the battery life of the collars is about 24ish hrs with no use and about a constant 18hrs with moderate use of the vibration feature and tone.Vibration featureThe vibration feature has 9 levels and works well to distract my dogs when a situation arises.Tone featureThe tone feature is very helpful when trying to assist with basic commands like come sit stay. A bonus feature is when you press and hold down the tone button it becomes an SOS tone. One negative feature is you can’t adjust the tone level but the overall level is good just wish it was able to be a bit louder.Shock featureas of this time of the review I have not tested the shock feature. The pack came with two different extensions for the shock probes and silicone covers for the probes so it will not inadvertently shock the dogs even if the button is pressed. The sensitivity for the shock goes from 0 to 100. since I have not tested this feature I don’t know what affect this has the battery life.RemoteThe remote has a very good battery life and one set up is very easy to use. I have not been able to test the full extent of the range but within the house I’m able to ping any of the dogs when needed.Charging cableThe charging cable that came with the pack is magnetic what is a special cable so I would have to purchase another of that type to charge the callers. in my opinion this is a con because I can’t use a standard type of charging cable and if the cable got damaged I would have to purchase a replacement.dog collaroverall I would say they’re good. I have never used these but he was determined to run the house as he pleased. I use the noise and the vibration on him and it worked! Noise as a warning then vibration if he continued. He learned quickly what was okay and what wasn't. The shock is rare but I have used it maybe 3 to 4 times. I havnt used it anymore other then the noise and vibration when it's needed but he learned fast and he's such a great boy now.
