Premium quality, amazing sole grip, not designed for comfort but very durable for hiking and outdoor activities.

Generally these are are good walking trainers. They fit well, the soles have amazing grip and the water proofing is a top notch. I even don't mind the speed laces, although given the negative reviews I've been very careful when tightening. I have the black pair and they are robust and look good.I've marked them down as they are very rigid with limited give. The inner sole has no cushion so after several long days of walking they feel a chore to wear. Hopefully they are just taking longer to break in.Update: took longer than expected but they've been broken in and are quite comfortable now. Rating increased to 5 stars.

I am tag lazy so when I have lace up trainers I slip them on using a shoe horn. With these trainers I don’t have use a shoe horn to it’s like having slip on trainers.I prefer to wear trainers through out the year and these are my go to trainers. My feet are always dry in them even after a heavy rain storm. You would have to submerge your feet a lot to get your socks wet.I find they are very comfortable over a long period and my soles of my feet don’t feel as tired as when I use ordinary trainers.I would recommend these to people who will be walking distances or spending time on your feet.I find they are good for festivals and concerts.I don’t run in them but they to seem a tag heavy to be running shoes but the rubber sole and toe protection is very good on rough terrain. I even use them for gardening.The lacing system is very good but again if you like your lacing tight then traditional laces may be better. These compare to Solomon trail shoes that lace similar. The reason I swopped to adidas is because I don’t like big logos on the side which standout which Solomon seem to now favour on their all their latest shoes. Other than that there is nothing really much different.I do find the overall look not very inspiring so I go for the black or green where the swift logo is not full on. This is my only gripe with the trainer so my colour choice is limited.I would buy again simply for overall comfort and performance in wet conditions. I am on my second pair.The sole seems good and lasts a long time.I would try Solomon and adidas on as although similar you may find one make suits your feet better. I have fairly wide feet so I don’t think these would be good for narrow feet.

April 19 ... So far wear looks good waterproof breathable a good size look coolish. Using them all the time. March 20 update .... Follow up worn these walking dog for 11 months most days rain or shine, they are super comfortable and supportive and look good enough. They breathe and are waterproof. I walk a lot and after 11 months they are looking worse for wear and are starting to leak; the sole near the big toe is starting to come apart, plastic suede is cracking a little, one of the pull laces broke, insides have not fallen apart, the soles look fairly worn but still overall one of the best pairs of shoes I have owned so have bought another pair exactly the same. AHHHH SECOND PAIR ARE SMALLER THAN THE FIRST JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE ME THINK THEY WOULD STRETCH IN, BUT THEY ARE 1/3 SIZE SMALLER THAN THE LAST PAIR AND UNCOMFORTABLE. Adidas HOW COMPLEX IS IT TO MAKE SURE YOUR MANUFACTURERS PRODUCE SHOES WITH CONSISTENT SIZES !! WASTED £80.

I bought these as they were on offer after buying the grey version a few days earlier. I was going to keep both as they do everything I want from a walking shoe. However the grey version are just slightly smaller than the black version so don't fit properly and I could have done with a half size bigger. The black shoes fit perfectly.They are stiff when they arrive so I'm going to have to break them in but they do already feel comfy.They are waterproof, and have a fantastic sole, too many trainers now have a plastic sole which make you slip in wry weather. These have a sole like tyres.Hopefully they will be hard-wearing and last me more than 6 months of walking 6 miles daily. Will update in a couple of months as to my progress.I have bought a second pair in black for when these eventually go.

I have a pair of Adidas Ax3 Terrex Gtx which are waterproof & really comfy, on my postie round i need good shoes) I thought I'd try a pair of these out aswell as they seemed to be an upgrade by reviews & price.From the box they are a little stiff, but I expected that & would soon wear them in doing 10 miles a day.The quick lace system seemed good & sturdy, but I'd never yank them really hard, as they shouldnt be over tight.The actual comfort of the shoe was good, no rubbing or pinching ........but every step was a loud clump like I was wearing clogs ( not like my Ax3's) after a few miles the hardness in the heel began to shine thru, there is absolutely NO give at all & my knees began to ache. At the end of my 10 mile round, my knees were in bits & the heels on both feet were throbbing. ......I had to soak my feet, have them massaged & take ibuorofen.My Ax3's have always been great, on my round & the occasional Peak District walk.Bought another pair of Ax3's & they are fine.

After a month of almost daily use walking my dog in parks, roads and forests I am very happy with the product. they are very sturdy and i feel very confident wearing them regardless of the terrain. i have tried them on some really steep slopes in the forests near me and they stood up to the test every time. - They were stiff when i first bough them, after a couple of weeks they opening up. - Have had no issues with the quick release laces yet but it wear them quite loose so i can slip them on easily - this does mean you do get stones in the shoe though when on gravel routes. - They look a lot nicer then most outdoors trainers on the market, even my wife likes them :) - 100% waterproof - Doesn't give you any ankle supportArrived sooner then expected - I was very happy bunny.Worth the money? Yes, 100%!

Sneakers are waterproof and are excellent for walking!!!
