A Great Sound Bar
I previously tried a (less expensive) Sanyun SW010 sound bar, and it was not very good. It was my first and I wasn't sure what to expect form a sound bar (after having used a good Plantronics headset for years), but it sounded only a little better than a computer speaker. I went back to the Plantronics headset, but my ears were still getting irritated, so I tried this sound bar. Wow, this is exactly what I needed. I listen to YouTube daily, and whether it's music or talking, the quality of this sound bar is incredibly good by my standards. I only use the USB connection, so I can't speak to using Bluetooth. Pros: (1) high quality sound (and bass); (2) USB connection; (3) instructions were clear. Cons: (1) at 16" it's larger than what I wanted; (2) ends are tapered instead of square; you can still stand it on its end, but sound doesn't work well that way, so it needs to rest horizontally. The only issue I had was that when I first pressed the power button on, it didn't power up and I thought something was wrong. I came to discover that I simply didn't press long enough. Seems like it really needed 3-4 seconds to power on rather than the 2 instructions indicated.

Turns off at "high" volume
I can't give this speaker anything higher than 1 star. While it sounds fine and fits perfectly on my desk below my monitor, it has a major flaw that can't be overlooked. Any time I listen to music (or even when playing games or watching Youtube), if it "deems" the music/sound to be too loud, it turns the speaker off. At first I thought I was having a software problem or a problem with my USB cable that is powering it. After doing some research, the only thing I've seen through reading FAQ's and forum posts is that this is a "safety feature" to keep you from damaging your ears. I honestly can't make it loud enough to fill the room with music before it turns off. Unfortunately I'm passed my return window, and I can't see myself buying a Creatives products ever again after this experience. Had I known that this is a "feature" of the speaker, I would have never bought it. Don't waste your money buying this speaker unless you never plan on turn the volume up on, (but what's the point of buying a speaker if you won't turn it up?)

Cheap and work as expected for price.
Bluetooth is really good; volume is amazing in wireless mode. However, it lacks compatibility for devices using a type C cable. I can barely hear it in my console; however, it is working fine in my PC. So far the battery doesn't last too much, maybe 5 or 6 hrs, but hey, for the price, it's not that bad.

Don't expect hi fidelity, but worth it for the price and footprint. Decent sound at my desk.
First and foremost, I wasn't expecting high fidelity. I wanted a decent sounding sound bar for my macbook that didn't take up much room. I first tried a $40 ONN from Walmart, which was longer. Very disappointing as far as sound. It was so flat with no range at all, no matter the settings. After digging around, I decided on this baby and am not disappointed. For the size, and just listening to music and videos, the sound is very acceptable. At first, I tried to do the power and sound through the same USB-C source. This just simply does not work well out of a macbook, so I used a power adapter for the USB-C and connected via bluetooth. This is the sweet spot. Another plus is that it fits right under my monitor, out of the way of the other clutter on my desk. Worth the money.

Fine Bluetooth speaker, horrible PC soundbar
When it works, it works. Strong bass, though it can't hit the lowest of bass notes. But, I never cared about those details (and if I did, I'd just use my headphones anyway), and it did its job well. It just sucks that after 10 months of constant use as a PC soundbar (its job, mind you), it decided to start malfunctioning. Firstly, on Bluetooth mode, it would randomly declare that the battery is low, and constantly keep interrupting whatever audio was playing. This is all despite the fact that it was never off of the USB-C, and is always kept charging. And when I did have it disconnected from the charger, it was for maybe a maximum of an hour, one sixth of the claimed battery life. Sure, this could be battery degradation because I keep it plugged in, but it's a soundbar, right? That's the whole point of the product, right? Now, it has decided to just randomly turn off and stop working, no warning or nothing. In the middle of doing something, it'll just turn off and refuse to turn on for several minutes, despite the USB-C cable being plugged in. It doesn't even show that it's charging, no red light or anything. And even when it decides to revive itself, the red light that's supposed to show it's charging isn't solid, and seems to be struggling to keep itself on until I power on the speaker itself. Then it's just a few minutes before the cycle repeats and it kills itself again. Now, sure, this is because it doubles as a Bluetooth speaker, right? It needs to have a battery so that it can be a speaker wirelessly. And it does it's job as a Bluetooth speaker well. But as a PC soundbar, this absolutely fails. You cannot keep this plugged in, because it doesn't rely on the power coming from the USB, it comes from the battery exclusively. Meaning, that if your battery dies, you can't do anything unless you wanna do some shoddy DIY work and install new batteries into it, or send it in for a full replacement. So, yes. It did it job well. But it didn't even last a year. You're better off finding a proper soundbar with its own dedicated power.

[Review Update] Battery Failure--Sound Bar Not Recommended
The Creative Stage Air V2 2.0 is a great compact soundbar that packs a punchy yet smooth bass and clear highs. I purchased the Air V2 after initially buying (and returning) the Nylavee SK100 which had zero bass response and flat highs. One minor issue is the highs lose clarity because the speaker angle is parallel to the desk which directs the sound towards your chest while sitting. There is a significant improvement to the highs by propping the speaker tilt upwards towards your ears. This is a great speaker for $40 on sale. --Review Update: As many other customers have already stated, the soundbar battery has failed and does not receive a charge anymore. The soundbar now randomly turns off despite being plugged into a charger. The battery is not easily replaceable. Do not buy.

It sounds very good 😀 ...when it works 😣
I bought one back in October, 2022 and it sounded great! I used it mainly connected to my laptop computer for videos and for video games. As time went by, I noticed two qualities deteriorating: 1. I had to increase the volume more and more to get similar levels when it was new. When new, a volume of 20 or 30/100 was loud enough, after a couple of years I had to crank it up to 50 or 60/100 to get similar volume. 2. If I used bluetooth, it would not last as long as when new. I suspected it was a battery issue, so I decided to try to replace the battery myself...and ended up bending & breaking the plastic speaker. Unfortunately, they made it unbelievably difficult to remove the side lid to replace the battery. When the speaker worked, it really sounded good for the cost and the size, I was truly impressed! I think Creative missed out on a potential revenue source by not making this speaker more user-friendly by making the battery easier to replace, and ultimately missed revenue from battery replacement sales. Would I buy again? Most likely no. I am looking at other soundbars that have a higher rating than this Creative speaker.

Excelente.

Wow!
I bought this to replace the Creative 4.1 set connected to my computer in the den. I wanted the convenience of pairing my phone with it the times I want a little background music when doing non-computer stuff, and honestly, I really do not need surround sound there and would like to reclaim the space it occupies. When it arrived, I connected it to the computer in my bedroom to test it out. They blow my older Creative 2.0 speakers I have in this room out of the water. Clear, crisp sound and a powerful bass in such a relatively small package. I was listening to one particularly loud song but I could still make out the delicate "tink" of the high hat. Welp, I just ordered two more, once more for the den because this one is not leaving my bedroom, and another for my Chromebook in the living room. Creative, there is a reason why I continue buying your products going on three decades now!

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP. It will only last about a year.
UPDATE: After about a year the battery was toast. Now I have to drop my review from 5 stars to 2. My faith in Creative has been greatly diminished. My advice is to spend a little more on a better brand. UPDATED UPDATE: The unit no longer powers on. I have dropped my 2 star review to 1. The only reason you get one star is that Amazon will not allow me to rate you at zero stars. Creative, if you are reading this. Please do better, I have been faithful to your brand since the Soundblaster 16 and I even bought the ZENvision, and this is way bigger let down. This soundbar is pure garbage, and Creative is a brand that can no longer be trusted.
