This chaplet is made using some kind of synthetic twisted strands string. It loosened or broke after only 2 weeks of light use. The only way to fix it would be completely to restring it. If they had used a single strand cord, I might have been able to repair it without having to restring ALL of the beads. It's obvious that it will take seamstress level skills to restring it. I'll probably just buy a different one.)
