I was looking for a document holder for a folding table in my motor home for use with a laptop computer. I’ve studied several and found this one to be the best. Tubular metal construction with 4 swivel pivots and a solid bamboo document/book holder that rotates providing both portrait and landscape positions. A hinged book holder bar will hold a book or an open binder. It is structurally rigid with a solid large base clamp and easily adjustable pivot joints. It even looks good. Can’t get a better unit for this price.

Great addition to my desk set-up. Very easy to install and seems to be of quality build. very adjustable to suit most any set-up that is needed.

03/23/2024Received the replacement unit today, the back was much flatter, just a slight bow, and no delamination, but the glue joints have a hairline spacing between section - satisfactory.ARM MOVEMENT:The arm is solid, but the center U-joint has a limited range of motion which could be improved by extending the brackets slightly. It would be convenient to move the outside arm closer to the inside arm. minor.Generally, the design is good for the price. Components are strong and should hold up. The bamboo back design could be improved. Something is wrong in the manufacturing process.I'd buy another one of these.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The frame, including the table clamp and hinges are well made. The problem is that the bamboo back (book holder) is coming apart at the glue seams. Unlike cutting boards and other laminated bamboo tops that are made with more, smaller pieces of bamboo, the back is made of larger, wider, pieces. Either the construction with larger elements, or bad gluing caused the piece to warp and sections are coming apart at the glue joints. Otherwise, a very nice product. I'm returning this item for a replacement of the same item in HOPES that the replacement does not have this defect. The product is very functional except for the one glaring flaw.

This attaches easily to my treadmill and is easy to use! Fills the need!

Really sturdy book stand, I liked the padded desk clamp. Holds even firm books open easily.The threads on the post to clamp interface are a bit stiff and hard to engage, the machining could be better.Most importantly, the bamboo back plate was clearly bowed, and cracked in several places. It's holding together but I don't know for how long.

I bought this for my father, whom is a Pastor and has Bible Study via zoom. Gives him extra space since he doesn't have a lot of desk space. He can have his book open and read when needed. Because the arm can be moved in different positions, it does not obstruct his view of the computer nor the congregations view of seeing him. Before all we could see was the top of his head when he bent down to read. (Smile) He has a roll top desk, so there wasn't a lip deep enough to clamp this on, so I used a TV tray and placed it on the side! It worked perfect, because the arm can be positioned outward. When you buy it, you'll understand what I'm saying. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Thanks

I need this book holder to spare my neck muscles that limit my reading time. I added a music stand light to illuminate my book while reading. This type of light, or something along those lines, would be a useful add-on for the company to offer.

…needed to pair my GREAT WORLD ATLAS to my world globe’s stand. The atlas is heavy, (about 10lbs). The main bracket is robust and anchors well. The book fits perfectly and the stand all-in-all is VERY sturdy. I like it! It’s a keeper!

Wow, this is a game changer for readers, it holds any book without issue, I have arthritis so holding books isn't easy as I get the shakes so now I just put on this and settle down to rwad in comfort.

The mounting leans slightly to the weight of the book, but not a big issue, on the whole, pretty stable and even with plastic covers for book holding clips to keep the book clean (incase of rust?). Holding up a large 800 page textbook no problem.

I was pessimistic from the reviews that the build quality was not going to be good, BUT I was so happy to see it be sturdy and the build quality was awesome and happy with the updated version.
