Pantry must have!
McCormick Mexican Oregano has added a ton of flavor to my cooking and quickly became a staple in my spice cabinet. Good Mexican Oregano - smells so good!
This is my second bottle of McCormick’s Gourmet Mexican Oregano. In my quest for more authentic Mexican food, despite my inherent Transculent American-ness, I added this to my pantry. It really does make a difference in my Hispanic-inspired dishes. It smells so good! It’s fresh and well priced for what you get.

There is a little flavor difference between the Mexican vs regular oregano. Could not find in stores so this was a great option to get in.

I love this stuff
Purchase this to make homemade barira tacos. One of the meals my son requested before hearing to boot camp. I'm a basic white chic so I've never made those before in my life never even tasted them. Anyways, Mexican oregano is really good. I like it better than the regular stuff. I have used this in recipes in place of regular oregano and my recipes turned out pretty good. Too bad my local stores do not carry it.

You Need This for Cooking Mexican or Tex-Mex - It's not the same as Regular Oregano!
I've been cooking Mexican a lot more recently and learned that Mexican oregano is very different from regular oregano like that used in Italian dishes. Was very happy to find this product at a reasonable price on Amazon. Recommend for all who like to cook Mexican or Tex-Mex.
