Lowepro Dashpoint 20 Camera Bag - Multi Attachment Pouch For Your Mirrorless Camera

Clips onto belt, or carry with strap, these are great little camera cases that come in multiple sizes. Lowepro makes some high quality photo bags, cases and backpacks. Pictured, is a 1963 Olympus Pen F in the Dashpoint 20 case.

I have both a NEX-5N and a 3N, with 16-50 power zoom lens and a 16mm pancake lens. I had hoped to use this case for the 5N with 16-50 lens, however with the flash attached this setup will just not work. The 5N with 16mm lens will fit with the flash attached, but not with the 16-50 lens. The 3N fits nicely with the 16-50 lens, though. The 3N has a built in pop-up flash, which does not get in the way. It is a very tight fit regardless of the setup.This case is very well made and offers a good amount of protection. I love the versatile belt loop -- it can be attached to both vertical and horizontal straps. The velcro closure for these things seems very secure. The loops to attach a strap, however, are just thin fabric loops (which is why I'm only giving this case 4 stars instead of 5). I'm not thrilled with that. I have a slash-proof security neck strap, but the thin fabric loops could be easily cut. Of course, a thief would have to be very precise, but still. I have no idea how well these loops will hold up over time. I would want to modify these with some sort of metal (although I can't sew, so I probably won't ever do anything). Instead of using these loops, I have been attaching the secure camera strap on one side of the camera (both ends are attached to the side that is on top when the camera goes in the case, then zipping both zippers up to the center point. The camera strap sticks out through the small opening and I use that to carry the camera around. It's been working pretty well. For added convenience, I attached a small wrist strap from the camera to one of the fabric loops on the case, so when I take the camera out the case dangles from the wrist strap -- this way I won't lose the case when I take the camera out, since I'm not using a strap attached directly to the case.Anyway, if you use a 3N with 16-50 lens (or any smaller lens), a 5N with 16-50 lens and you do not like to use the flash, or if you use the 16mm pancake lens with the 5N (with or without flash), then this case is perfect. It is the most compact case I've found so far for this camera, and it's very well made.

I agree with some other reviewers who say that it fits their Sony Rx 100's. It literally fits like a glove which is exactly what I wanted because this makes it possible to put the camera (while inside this case) into your pocket. This is my preferred way of carrying this camera when out for a walk, etc.It provides a certain amount of water resistance . . but not waterproof. It also supplies some amount of protection against damage from bumps and drops, however not total protection. I wouldn't want to test this with a four foot drop onto concrete . . although depending on how it landed the cushioning may be sufficient. I like that there are loops for attachment to either a belt or a vertical strap (such as on a backpack). The strap that comes with it is narrow but more than adequate in terms of both strength and comfort . . because it's a light camera and doesn't require a huge strap. The strap that I got is adjustable in terms of length.

One of the first things I look for in a camera bag review, is what camera the reviewer is using .... best case it's the camera I'm wanting a bag for ... worst case the reviewer talks about how great his camera fits, but never mentions the camera .....Well as the title says, my NEX 5T fits perfectly in the Dashpoint 20 .... my NEX 5T is configured with the kit lens (16-50mm), B+W UV filter, and the stock lens cap ... It also has the Black Rapid Stealth and Black Rapid wrist strap attached .... again, it fits perfectly in the case .... it's snug ... It won't drop in via gravity; you have to push it in .... but it glides right in with little resistance ....Can you get anything else in the bag? .... hard to believe but two batteries and a SD card will fit ... the SD card fits into a little pocket in the bag cover .... wrap the batteries in a micro cloth so they don't scratch your camera and they will fit in the void created between the camera grip and lens .... NOTHING else is going to fit in the case ... I have the Black Rapid wrist strap hanging outside when zipping up the bag cover and the strap makes a perfect carry handle ....You will have a bit more room if you use the 16 or 20mm prime lenses on your NEX .... and the NEX with the 210mm zoom will of course not fit at all ..... if I took the Black Rapid Stealth and strap off my camera, the camera with kit flash would fit into the case .....The bag is of Lowepro quality, but material is very slippery .... I personally would not trust the little nylon loops on the side of the case for a shoulder or neck strap because they are attached only by the stitching .... so what a great purchase that Black Rapid wrist strap has become .....

La calidad es realmente buena, como suele pasar con todo lo de Lowepro.En mi caso la compré para una Lumix LX100 y va perfecta. Hay espacio de sobra. Va holgada.A veces también la uso para una Fuji instax mini 90, y lo mismo. Muy bien.

This bag keeps my Sony Rx100 safe and protected when travelling and walking around.

The media could not be loaded.  La compré para una ZV1 cabe exactita.Si puedes usar el compartimento para traer una SD extra.No cabe una batería extra solo la cámara.Está muy bien.

This case is recommended on a few bulletin boards for the Sony RX100 camera (mine's model VI, but should fit all versions). There are other generic cases out there but all are too bulky and a loose fit. This is a very snug fit but should loosen up. Very versatile: secure attachments for backpack shoulder straps or waist belt and also comes with a shoulder strap. It seems hard to find (unobtainable locally and I tried to order it from another vendor but my order got cancelled, so I guess it's out of stock). I got a good price since it's the less popular blue colour (Also available in grey, red, and possibly other colours). Overall very pleased!
