I've been using a food jar from a discount store and it's awful; my food is room temp by lunchtime and the condensation leaks out causing a mess. I'm so impressed with this one, I fill it about 5 hours before my lunch and it keeps my food piping hot. I preheat it with boiling water which might help. I like that multiple parts can be taken off to clean but there's one small part that can easily get lost or fall down the drain. I also don't understand the plastic part that comes off on top of the lid. But overall this product works extremely well and it fits just the right amount of food.

I loved this thermos’ design, it looks so cute! I’ve only used it multiple times for soup, I’ve poured it in the preheated thermos in the morning before work and at lunch time my soup is always piping hot! I will need to try with dry foods to see if the heat holds up just as well.

I actually really wanted to buy a drinking bottle from Zojirushi (because i like this brand and its fine quality products, and I liked how the drinking bottles work) but almost all of the offerings have teflon coating inside. What is the point of paying for expensive stainless steel if I'm just going to drink from a teflon-type coated thing? At least on Amazon the only choices for the non-coated ones were dreary solid black or tacky bright orange. No thanks. And I really like the shapes and colors offered for the coated ones -- why not offer more uncoated versions? Including the matching bottle for this item? So I'm stuck with this container which is not really ideal for drinking but it is okay. When you open it, you will likely have a lot of drip from the lid, and the edges where you drink from are not really designed for drinking, plus there is greater risk of spill due to the wide opening, but it is still all good enough for me. And it will double for food so it is versatile. So overall I am pleased with the purchase, which is good considering the big expense. I figured I will only have a single one of these so it might as well be high quality.

So cute. Great quality from Zhojirushi. No factory smell. A little bit on the heavy side, especially after filling it with liquid. Holds quite a lot. And keeps things hot or cold for at least half the day

When I first opened it I was kinda worried to use it cause it smelt like plastic on the inside even after I washed it eventually the smell went away and I also didn't get any leaks in my bag I have been using it for a week and it's super adorable and incredibly worth it also keeps my food and drinks cold all day! The size is also not super big so it fits in most lunchboxes it's easy to open as well! Cleaning it is also really easy.

Bought this for my wife, and she loves it. keeps the soup and food warm for hours! For best results, we preheat the jar with boiled water before placing food in.

Good size for a 10 year old. Kept food warm until lunch at school. Easy to clean. Of course, a very cute decision that my daughter loved. It is definitely more expensive than other school lunch food jars, but having tried many brands before, this one seems to well made and worth the price.
