The dress was perfect! It is champagne and gold colored, several layers. It is not itchy, and I’m sensitive to fabrics. I’m 5’3 118 pounds, bought a small. I have a larger rib cage, it zipped fine, however, I didn’t feel I could eat a whole lot. I could breathe fine. I wore 3 inch heels and it was the perfect length. If I had enough time prior to my event (an 18th century ball), I would have bought nicer brooches. They look fine but are plastic. You will need some sort of side bustle to fill it out. Also, the fabric is not the best quality, but it’s not flimsy either.

This costume is surprisingly well- it is a great value and it looks very regal. I did not like the big bow in the front so I removed it and fancied the gown up with some trim of my own. I definitely recommend.

For the price, super good. I have a larger bust and ribs, so I got a large and it is plenty roomy. Material is pretty and not too thick or heavy. I have my own hoop skirt under it in the photo to add volume, and it’s def necessary to maximize the look. Side zipper is helpful and the feel of it is smooth enough I have gotten in and out of the dress on my own. Wearing for a REN faire but hoping I can keep it mostly nice enough to get a wear out of it for Halloween as well.

Mostly perfect. Some issues with the bow on the front. Uneven and trim issues but overall worth while. Great materials. Does not feel or look cheap. Very good value.

I will be wearing this as an Elizabeth Swann costume. The boys want to be Caribbean Pirates, this year. I was surprised by the level of quality of this costume. It's made of a mid-weight damask that's more comparable to a tablecloth or the outer of a necktie or tux vest than to your usual run-of-the-mill Halloween costume satin, which is what I was expecting for the price. It's also fully lined and has a side zipper but no boning or anything like that. If helpful: it is a mashup of a 1770s robe à l'anglaise (front) and 1760s robe à la française (back). It's a nice compromise between the two styles. If I had to choose, I'd say it's truer to the earlier French style than the later English. I am 5'6", 195 lbs, size 16, and I ordered a 3X according to the size chart -- it was HUGE on me. Too long, too wide, too big. I will return and reorder a 2X and a 1X and report back on sizing! I ordered the gold version. It is more of a light champagne than a true gold. A color light enough that it'd be inappropriate to wear to a wedding if that helps. I am a former theatrical costume designer, and though this is not of the quality you would expect to see on Broadway, this is nonetheless a good quality costume.

Dress did not come with the stone as it shows and did not come with the puffer

The dress looks nice however the quality is pretty bad , I got the dress , was a bit big on me so size isn’t very accurate, i noticed a rip in a random part of the dress not near a seam or the zipper , as I was trying to fix that rip since I didn’t have time to send it back anymore , it kept raveling the fabric seemed to be of poor quality for this price i would expect better, another thing about this dress is that is has a very boxy fit , I was able to do some alterations and fix it up but it took a lot of work .

This dress is exquisite and has wow factor! You must steam it and buy a crinoline and side bustle for full effect! Loved this and my guests did too!
