VANPO 1/4 Inch Digital Torque Wrench, 1.1-22.1 Ft-lbs/1.5-30Nm, with Preset Values, 2% Accuracy, Buzzer and LED Notification, Small Electronic Torque Wrench for Bicycles

I've been getting by with mechanical Harbor Freight torque wrenches and their electronic torque meter. The latter is okay, but often won't fit where I need it. And it's range of measurement is pretty high and I don't trust it under 10 ft-lbs. The former is a pitiful joke compared to this torque wrench. I got the 1/4 inch size in the mail today and put it to use torquing down the 15 bolts on a 20 year old BMW plastic cylinder head cover to 10 Nm. I don't know, nor care, what a Nm is, I just set it and went to work. I can't overstate how happy I am to have a tool that could prevent breaking some brittle plastic piece on my car. It effing rocked! This is a fine piece of machinery. The instructions are technically pretty good, but there's a video review here that'll tell you what you need to know in 5 minutes.

It's accurate, handy and portable - perfect for our needs. Just what we needed for adjusting and maintaining our beloved touring bicycles. Also going to get more use as we do electrical and solar upgrades to our small camper. Proper torque is critical to good connections and performance. The accompanying calibration report was a bonus and gives one confidence in the product and projects.

The Ratchet head is cheaply made. i used it about 15 times. tried to torque to 200 in-lb (max is 265 i-lb) and the ratchet head jumps teeth. The rest of the wrench is nice but the ratchet part is poorly made.

Great wrench with a low range for smaller bolts and nuts on bikes, motorcycles, cars... The biggest complaint is the need to use a screwdriver to unscrew the 2 screws for the battery compartment. $7 later after ordering the Knurled Thumb Screws M3x8mm and replacing the screws, I can now remove in seconds with no tools needed the batteries for storage or replacement... This is 44 clicks so definitely not for cramped spaces like the 72 clicks type.

Seems to be an ok torque wrench. But I am an old school clicker wrench guy. Had trouble with when the torque value was reached, even with the beeper sound. Its not for me, looking to get a clicker type.
