I am glad I found this iron supplement for my son! He did not like the Mary Ruth’s which is a very harsh smell and taste but with this one, he says it tastes good and he doesn’t say that about any of his vitamins lol. He says it’s candy!

I take this as an adult. Its easy to take in terms of taste and because its a liquid. There is no nausea or GI upset because its in liposomal form. And unlike non-liposomal forms of iron, nothing I eat or drink blocks absorption. I had to supplement for a long time, so I needed something effective and easy that I could take for up to a year, not for a few weeks. It's a bit pricey for an adult dose, but cheap isn't really cheap if you can't take it and/or don't get better. This is the future of iron supplementation, and I'm glad it exists. I can't imagine going back to anything else.

I have MCAS and IC and low ferritin and within a few weeks I stopped having heart palpitations, shortness of breath when standing, and dizziness upon standing. Great taste and now constipation or stomach irritation. My son’s functional medicine board certified pediatrician recommended these for him when he was younger but adults can take them too! I take 20 ml every other day and my energy and health have improved greatly.

I tried switching from Nuvamin liposomal iron drops an expensive sucrosomial iron capsule and my RLS symptoms returned. Going back to Nuvamin as it has been really helping me. When I have RLS symptoms at night, I get up and take some Nuvamin, and put magnesium oil on my feet, and then I am able to get back to sleep.

Our pediatrician told us to pick out an iron supplement that had a good taste because lots of babies/toddlers won't take iron because of the taste. We bought this iron supplement because it had good reviews about its flavor and it didn't disappoint. We give it to our 15 month old as a "dessert" and she always wants more. I just wish it came with a separate washable syringe since the dispenser it comes with doesn't wash easily and you don't want it to touch your baby's mouth at all because it will contaminate the after a while (that's what happened with the first bottle we bought). Now we just use the syringe that came with her ibuprofen bottle since we can wash and sanitize it easily.

This was Dr. recommended and works wonderful. My daughter loves it no problem giving it to her.

This helped my toddler (with low ferritin) to start sleeping well (she’s almost 3 and has always been a terrible sleeper) and the dosing allowed me to bribe her with chocolate chips to take it. Other iron supplements were too large in quantity for the given dose and I couldn’t get her to be consistent or to take it all. HOWEVER, she has had diarrhea constantly for 4 weeks since taking it. We tried tapering up instead of starting at a full dose, we tried taking it with food… nothing is working to make this supplement not cause huge mushy blowouts. My daughter has always had great normal poops, so this is way abnormal for her. We pulled it and poops are getting normal again BUT her sleep is already back to being whacked. Unfortunately I knocked off 1 star because we will not be able to continue this supplement. But I think it’s worth a try because the iron itself was clearly being absorbed and having a positive effect. Maybe it won’t cause this issue for your kiddo?

I have been using this for my daughter for several months as she is very fussy about food and therefore does not get much iron intake. Because she is so fussy I was worried that she wouldn't take it, but the dosage is tiny so it was easy to intially add it to the small amount of food that she eats, and after a while I tried it by itself and she will happily take it- she even takes the spoon back to try to get every last drop. She has had no side effects, and it is keeping her iron levels up.
