Jaipur Indian Inlay Stencils Pack of 7 Furniture Wall Floor Stencil for Painting

PERFECT ! ! ! Exactly what I was looking for. Now I just have to plan out my piece 😵 That’s the hard part ... and the colors ... LOL

I ordered these stencils to decorate a plain pine bed frame that I am painting, and wanted to give a rustic Asian inspired look. I have yet to do the bed but I have tried out the stencils on a small Side table and found them generally easy to use, and easy to clean. The cut outs are precise and neat and the overall finish is great. The seven pieces give lots of styling options as you can combine them or use them individually to suit your project. Overall not the cheapest stencils on the. Market, but there's a lot of flexibility in terms of design choices so if you are decorating more than one piece they do represent excellent value for money as they should last indefinitely if looked after properly. The large Central motif is less easy to use as the pattern is very open and can easily move if you don't tape Down securely, but it does give a much more fluid design as a result of not having extra bridges to stabilise the template.

I've attached a copy of my finish work, they were pretty easy to use. I key to this is to be super patience.

This was my first attempt at stencilling. The pattern is quite adaptable. I wanted more of a folky vibe than an Indian one and I found enough variety with the various parts of this pattern as you can see on the photo. My paint dried on the stencil, so after a warm water wash I used some isopropyl alcohol on it and it came fairly clean again. Arrived in a stiff package that kept the stencil nice and flat.

Used these to upcycle some furniture- they are exactly what you see and gave our draws a little extra pizzazz, only thing is that when removing the paint had bled a little underneath the stencil, but it's not really noticeable so wasn't an issue for us
