Good game, graphics are decent, and enjoying the gameplay, only about an hour into the game, but no problems so far.

Intense game. Pretty steep learning curve!

Don’t listen too much to the hater’s, this is a solid game, i found it fun but i wish there was more effort on letting players understand the game rather than just throw you in and figuring it out on your own. Also there are way too many different currencies in the game and also too much effort is pushed to make you purchase extra stuff all the time. Was very confused in the beginning and not sure what to do exactly but persistence paid off got a level 13 brigend which is pretty powerful. Most quests are complete and love how everyone comes to your aid when requesting assistance for difficult battles. Upgrading ships is a chore but they have a very unique system where you can purchase places and give them a ship to do rounds/defence, create trade routes etc, it can become quite intricate and technical and fun but you can also blast everyone if thats your play style. A very fun game letdown by no initial guidance and paywall features which i hate. I purchase a game and expected everything in it, i don’t want to pay extra for a few skins and plans and in game coins for progression.

So played for about a week. Excited at first but that soon changed. Problems are: A) Game is full of glitches B) So I've leveled my ship up, now what? Where's the game? C) Every "mission" is exactly the same. It's either deliver this or sink that. These were basically optional side quests from a good Assassin's Creed game. But now it's a stand-alone game of pointless side quests. D) No story. How? This period in history has so much to draw from. E) Once the main "missions" have been completed you have to endlessly "defend" you manufactories. There's a few tough times boss missions but once you've done one you've done them all. Grind, grind, grind. That's it. That's the whole game. 8 years in development for this crap.

Bought this for my husband, as he prefers longer games. Good rendering, lots to do, he loves it! It's a pirate games and sailing, if you like these things you'll love this game
