Safe and easy to use.
I had one of these for 6 years until last week when it stopped working. Ordered a new one straight away. I had to manage with a kettle for 2 days which I found quite difficult as, being in my late 70’s, lifting a kettle of boiling water can be very dangerous. So pleased with my new machine, it’s quieter than the old one with less splashing although I do use a tall mug. Cannot recommend this product enough.

Excellent! Highly recommend this to everyone
I’ve now had this for over 2 years and not had a single problem with it. I love that you’re not limited to a “cup” size as my mugs are huge and a normal cup size only fills them to around a third full. It also means you can fill a pot, jug, flask or anything you want. I’ve also discovered you can refill it while it’s dispensing (if you need a huge amount in one go) and it makes no difference to the temperature of the water dispensed. I’m not going to measure the temperatures to seee if they are accurate (I have better things to do with my time!) but I generally only use it on the hottest setting and that’s fine for a cuppa or a pot in my eyes. It’s not particularly noisy nor have I experienced any odd taste as other have mentioned. I’ll definitely be buying another should this stop working. Highly recommend! Edit on 15/7/24 - still working great! Edit on 22/4/25 - we had to replace this around a month ago as it was taking forever to fill anything- was dribbling out rather than poring out and (annoyingly) my man went out and bought a bog standard kettle 🤨 Desperately hoping it doesn’t last long so I can get another one of these!

Only lasts 6 months so not worth it.
Waited a while to write a review and glad I did. This is not my first purchase of this style machine. Our first one lasted 6 months with our family of 3 using it but we thought we may have had a faulty machine so we just purchased another. This is the second time I purchased this hot water machine, and in August 2024 the hot water dispenser was brilliant when we first had it. Pros: At the push of the button it would give water hot enough for a cup of tea or coffee until you stopped it, so any size mug can be used with it. (Perfect for our family) Cons: Roll on only 6 months later and the blasted thing keeps stopping…ALL THE TIME!! AGAIN!! Sadly the same fault as last time. The red light comes on and the water just stops flowing (even on our smallest cups). The water (when it does come out) has also started coming out warm and so no chance of using it for a hot cup of tea or coffee and we have come to the point where we are now looking for a new machine….again, sad days indeed. But did you descale it? I hear you say… yes, every month like clockwork we descaled the machine and it still happened. So in short it works well for 6 months and then you need to find something else which as the old saying goes… buy cheap.. buy twice. I’m now looking to spend more on my next machine to get more than 6 months out of it as the last two purchases of this machine have bolt lasted a poultry 6 months.

Wish I'd bought this machine sooner!!
Oh what a beautiful machine! It's so easy to use, and although steady on the worktop, it is quite lightweight to move, and the water tank comes off and goes back on without any problem. I particularly like the way the water stops immediately when the OFF switch is pressed - no drips to scald you - and the fact that there is a little green light underneath the top, which shines down upon the receptacles when the ON switch is dispensing hot water. You could make a hot drink in the middle of the night and not have to switch kitchen lights on!! It's also pretty quiet, so you wouldn't disturb the rest of the household by using a noisy old-style kettle. The water is hot too - no need to be putting your cup in the microwave if you like your drinks piping hot. After trawling through all the rather bewildering options for a hot water dispenser, I decided on this because there are no unnecessary bells and whistles which seem to take control away from you: this is a no-nonsense ON/OFF, one switch hot water dispenser which does what it's supposed to do - give you hot water as and when you want it. All this, and it looks very classy and neat, and matches my other kitchen equipment. I love it, love it, love it.

Flexible
Really easy to fill. Looks great & is well built. Not the absolute fastest to heat but it's major selling point is that it is flexible. Most hot water dispensers only dispense a range of "cup" sizes and then cut off. So if you have larger than normal cups or mugs you have to keep pressing the go button and then 9 times out of ten the mug overflows as the heating process takes a while to stop. Whereas this model just keeps pumping out hot water until you press the switch to end the process and it stops dispensing almost immediately. Really handy if you have oversized mugs like I do.
