Reviews on other brands included the color not matching well, the need to modify the hole in some way to make them fit and the blue LED light being a nuisance at night. I had none of those issues. This one fit perfectly in my 2005 4Runner (2003-2009 are all basically the same) with no modifications at all, and the color tint, although not an absolute perfect match, looks very close, even better than the photo makes it appear. The difference is unnoticeable. The blue internal LED light when powered on is hidden by the rubber cap when not in use. To wire it up, there is a 10mm bolt in the console for a suitable ground, and I ran a wire to the fuse panel (left side under dash) with a Littelfuse brand, Mini Add a Circuit Holder from an auto parts store (other makes call their fuse taps something different, but they do the same thing). I used a micro 5 AMP fuse in mine. My panel has several unused fuse slots (it's an SR5 model), so I made a dedicated circuit as it wasn't necessary to piggy-back fuses. Some of the empty slots are always hot, others only with ignition, take your pick. If you've never taken the console apart, I recommend viewing one of the YouTube videos. It snaps apart, incredibly easy.A Sharpie extra-fine point paint marker (Walmart arts & crafts section) will fill in the etched in letters and symbol for an OEM look. Just wipe over surface when nearly dry to clean it up. ### ⭐ Not for Toyota *by A***R on March 2, 2018* Doesn't fit Toyota switch blanks--leaves gaps and doesn't click into place. Needed to clue it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works *by ~***~ on September 16, 2017* This outlet is nice. A tight fit into a 2010 Corolla, but clips in. Installed into the center dash in front of the gear shift, works great there.Charges phones/tablet very quickly. I tied mine into an aftermarket fuse box that I installed by running a dedicated line through the firewall to it ("it" meaning fuse box) from the battery. Look up "Qiilu 6Way Fuse Box" on Amazon for this product to make installs like this easier.The charger port is put together nicely, and seems fairly solid.
