What characters do i buy to go with this? we are new to akedo so i wasn't sure if only certain akedo characters worked with it. thank you!!

Has anyone else had problems with the controller jamming? When we pull out on the red thing on the end to make them spin the trigger jams

I bought one for my son for Christmas. The handle didn't Jam. It might be defective.but I will say it's a fragile toy for a fighting game.
