After installing the Crucial 2TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD in my Dell XPS 9560, I ran a series of benchmarks using CrystalDiskMark 8.0.1 to see if the upgrade was worth it. The results were nothing short of spectacular, confirming that this SSD is a top-tier performer. Performance Overview: Sequential Read/Write (Q8T1): The SSD achieved an astonishing 3153.94 MB/s read and 2974.02 MB/s write speeds. This shows that the SSD can handle large file transfers incredibly efficiently, which is perfect for video editing and data analysis. Sequential Read/Write (Q1T1): It recorded 2230.71 MB/s read and 2568.10 MB/s write speeds. These speeds are reflective of typical daily usage and suggest significant improvements in application loading and file access over traditional SSDs. Random Read/Write (4KB Q32T1): With 342.65 MB/s read and 182.53 MB/s write speeds, the drive excels in multitasking and complex operations, which are common in system operations and during multiple applications running. Random Read/Write (4KB Q1T1): Achieving 48.49 MB/s read and 123.72 MB/s write, the SSD proves it can handle random data requests efficiently, enhancing overall system responsiveness. Final Thoughts: The Crucial 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD delivers exceptional performance that has breathed new life into my Dell XPS 9560. Installed this on my Dell G15 5515 Laptop (2022 Ryzen Edition), and I'm proud to say that this was my first time adding an upgrade to my PC :D On CrystalDiskMark 8 I got speeds of 3500-3600MB/s, which means that the SSD performs up to the speed as advertised. I use this SSD purely for the storage of games and there have been zero issues with this drive ever since I installed it. Highly recommend this model if your PC is on PCIe 3.0.

The 512GB SSD was purchased to upgrade from a 128GB SSD that came installed on the desktop computer. I could take a backup of the 128GB SSD onto the 1TB hard drive and restore the backup to the 512GB SSD which replaced the 128GB drive. I used Macrium Backup to do the backup and restore. I then used MiniTool Partition Wizard to expand the main partition. Had to move the recovery partition to the end of the drive before doing the expansion.

Ho acquistato il Crucial P3 500GB M.2 PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSD per aggiornare il mio PC e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto. Questo SSD offre prestazioni incredibili a un prezzo davvero competitivo, soprattutto considerando che offre una velocità di lettura fino a 3500 MB/s, il che è un notevole salto rispetto ai tradizionali hard disk e anche rispetto a SSD SATA. La velocità di scrittura è anch'essa molto buona, con 3000 MB/s di picco, il che rende il Crucial P3 ideale per lavori che richiedono una rapida scrittura di dati, come l'editing video o il caricamento di giochi pesanti. La differenza rispetto al mio vecchio disco è evidente, il mio sistema operativo si avvia in pochi secondi e anche il caricamento delle applicazioni è praticamente istantaneo. L’installazione è stata semplice, grazie al formato M.2 2280 che si adatta perfettamente alla mia scheda madre compatibile con PCIe Gen3. Non ho avuto problemi nel configurarlo e non è stato necessario fare alcuna operazione particolare se non collegarlo correttamente. Un altro punto a favore è che il Crucial P3 è dotato di tecnologie di protezione e gestione del calore, il che lo rende più duraturo e sicuro, mantenendo la stabilità durante l'uso prolungato, senza alcun rischio di surriscaldamento. Durabilità: Grazie alla memoria NAND 3D TLC e ai suoi 500GB di capacità, è perfetto per utenti che non necessitano di enormi spazi di archiviazione, ma vogliono comunque un'unità veloce e affidabile per il sistema operativo e i giochi. In generale, il Crucial P3 500GB NVMe SSD è un’ottima scelta per chi desidera migliorare le prestazioni complessive del proprio PC, senza dover spendere una fortuna. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un SSD veloce, stabile e con un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

So far works alike a charm. But, would have been great to recommend automatically a case for the ones willing to use it as an external drive. Not always easy to find out who ça case fits which one with all different type of models

Eine super schnelle SSD, die perfekt für eine separate Spiele-Platte oder direkt fürs Betriebssystem geeignet ist. Crucial ist sehr zuverlässig. Denn ich hatte bereits 2 SSD's, die Jahre lang gehalten haben und auch heute, nach über 9 Jahren noch funktionieren. Allerdings habe ich mich für ein M2 Upgrade entschieden. Auf der 2 TB Platte ist genug Platz und vom Preis her unschlagbar. Für sehr anpsruchsvolle Sachen wie bspw. Videobearbeitung würde ich allerdings die Plus Variante empfehlen, denn die ist nochmal etwas schneller.
