Quick Access Reference for Writers (7th Edition) 7th Edition

Book was in good shape.

All along the semester I used this book for my homework and studies for my tests. It is very well made and easy to use. I had not problem to find quickly the info needed. I loved it so much that I decided to keep it.

It was used though. And in acceptable condition. I just didn't realize it wouldn't have the eText access card package. So it's a bit disappointing, but I got it on time and for a used book it is decent. I am trying to look positive. Basically, if you wan the eText access card package, I guess you should buy it new. That is all. It'll work for what I need it for. I'll just have to get the eText if I need it another semester.

I received in a timely manner and it had a personal thank you note. Book was in excellent condition. Also, the book smelled like flowers .... strange but pleasant.

This is an absolute must have for any and ALL college course classes. Not to mention, it's perfect to just have lying around the house for any related uses.

Well, it's a plastic spiral bound handbook that was required for English 101 at our community college. For the price, our son used it very little. I know his instructor had the students looking for information in it based on page number, because something was wrong with the tabbed easy-to-find layout of the book. I'll tell ya, I am certainly seeing a lot of wasted money on textbooks with our kids in college. If you or your student can convince the instructor before the class starts that this book is unnecessary, I would sure give it a try. From what I saw our son use, everything in this handbook is online. They used the book for MLA citing and for the writing guidelines (ie common mistakes writers make). ALL of that is online. Our students use the Purdue OWL for all this information, making this handbook worthless. Instructors sure need to get on board for helping lower education costs. I give it one star because you can easily find this information elsewhere.

GOOD PRICE

was not the exact book. Did not include the new mycomputer lab as advertised. Kept the book and got dollars off the price due to the fact may have to buy another book / the correct one/ next semister.

Absolutely excellent content; a must for university students and faculty.The title says it all...quick access to all aspects of research writing and styles. Unfortunately, this time, I inadvertently ordered the slightly less quality paper and binding.Students likely need the stronger binding.
