WiFi Power Outage Alarm Detector, Power Failure & Restoration Alerts with SMS Text, Email & Audible Alarm

A very inexpnesive and reliable method to monitor for power on any circuit. For me, it is to tell me if I have lost power on a freezer, protecting the thousands of dollars of food stored in there. I have experienced where a loss of a circuit breaker in the past caused a full loss of all items within. This item has done exactly what I needed: Monitor and alert when power is lost. If I lose power, I get an audible tone in the garage indicating the loss, but far more importantly, I get a text message and email that says "Power lost to <freezer> at XX:XX am/pm". I can take immediate action to ensure I have alternate power or provide a way to move the freezer items to avoid spoil. What more can you want. Has saved me once already. I may get for one other circuit as well as I trust this to work. It is simple, small, and seems to have good battery life. It does not say in description what it says in the packaging in which you get 300 text messages before you run out. That may be a concern for some, but I do not plan on losing power that often. It does not affect email service, thought. Well worth it. Do understand that if you lose power to entire house, it may not get message sent before your internet router loses power, so understand that limitation. For me, I have the router on a battery backup so it will send the signal regardless. Highly recommended.

I purchased this unit a couple of months age to monitor power on my freezer. This product is great and works well. The only downfall that I can see is the fact that it will only send a total of 300 text messages in its lifetime. It will however send unlimited emails to up to two people. My power has went off a couple of times and it notified me each time (when it goes off and again when it comes back on.

Where I live, we are very prone to power outages that can affect sensitive equipment. In addition, my surroundings are very dark during these outages, and it is very important to take necessary safety precautions. After evaluating several options for power outages alert systems, I decided to purchase the Risinglink Power Failure Alarm, Power Failure Detector, on November 2025 and it was the best decision I could have made. First, you do not need a subscription to receive alert emails. The device also sends text messages. I found the installation instructions very easy to follow. Since installation, the device has worked flawlessly, even sending emails and text messages within seconds of each other when there are very short duration outages. I consider this a very reliable and cost-effective alert system.

Very Happy with my Risinglink Power Failure Alarm. I'm a tech head so it was pretty easy for me to setup; although I did see some reviews of people stating they thought it was a little difficult , if you follow the directions as stated you should not have any problems. It works great and alerts me immediately via email and text if I loose power to my house and also another email and text when the poser comes back on (your router/wifi I think needs to be on a battery backup since it uses that to route the message). I am super happy with the unit.

I initially had an issue getting my Risinglink to connect to my internet even after splitting my 5g from my 2.4g which is the one needed for Risinglink. I contacted customer support who got back to me within 10 minutes. They were very helpful and asked me to double check my password and reminded me it is case sensitive. Sure enough, I had a capitol letter on the form I filled out for Risinglink that was not capitalized on my password. Once that was resolved, it works great. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because I want to see if it continues to work over an extended period of of time.

I purchased my risinglink about 3 years ago and had 100% success. No problem and easy to set up. However, I did change my internet service from Verizon to T-mobile and had a little difficulty understanding how to set my T-mobile to a different frequency to match my risinlink. I reached out to customer support and within a day I had my answers and now up and working. Good product. Makes it nice when out of town, you know exactly when power is off or on.

We run a commercial kitchen with cold storage on Kauai. We wanted a product that alerted us and our cold storage kitchen users in the event of a power loss. So far so good with Risinglink's alarm. We purchased and installed two units. Set up was easy and alerts go out in the event of a power loss. It is nice that Risinglink does not require a subscription and the ability to send out alerts to multiple email addresses and phone numbers is a beneficial feature. We added a UPS battery backup to our router to better ensure the device could get an alert out in the event of a power loss.

Great product! Power has gone out a few times and the audible alarm and text/emails worked great. I would suggest having a battery backup on your modem so you have internet access to receive your alerts. Great piece of mind!

This connects to your wifi, if the power goes down it sends you an email. It works because my wifi is on an uninterruptible power supply so my wifi stays alive if the power goes off.

Bene perchè segnala le interruzioni di corrente in modo ottimale e preciso. Non benissimo perchè: Costa troppo Non manda sms al di fuori degli USA (quindi solo email) Non si puo programmare quindi ha un fuso orario sballato. Serve internet altrimenti non funziona (ma questo è dichiarato dal costruttore)
