How to use it more appropriate?

I used to make a mess when cleaning my dog's paws. Now i fill the receptacle with warm water and a little soap, then insert the paws, one by one and rub the cleaner making slow movements back and forth. My dog was scared at first, but then got used to the soft inside. The best way to clean is to rub it several times and get the paw completely washed.

Does anyone know if this is Dishwasher Safe ?

Yes,It can wash the dog's feet safely.

My dog weighs 40 pounds, is this portable pet foot cup suitable?

Yes, this paw cleaner can wash the paw of a 40lb dog. You can refer to the dog paw size chart to determine whether it is suitable.
