you are correct. The ones I am selling are brand new that came inside a laptop that I have upgraded with 32GB. the 2 x 8GB are Unused.

Probably will work. I have HP ENVY 16-H0000NA and they work with that. I think your 17-ck1011na should already have 32gb of ram in it already though. So if you are looking to upgrade to 64gb this would not be the way to go as it's probably only got 2 so-dimm slots (you'd need to check this). For 64gb you'd have to use a 2x32gb kit and that might not work ( I had difficulty with a 64gb upgrade, faulty RAM might be have been the cause but I also think 32gb may be the limit for the HP BIOS in these laptops).
