i only consume certified organic, which limits the products available to me on amazon.i cannot access my preferred brand anymore so i did a lot of research before selecting this oil. this is now my go-to oil.i like that it comes well packed (bubblewrapped inside the box to prevent breakage and limit spillage), and the outer packaging itself is appealing, and certainly suitable as a gift.i was drawn to this oil partially because of its greek (crete) origins.i really like my extra virgin olive oil very strongly flavored, and this is not that. it is very very mild. the flavor itself is pleasant, it's just very very mild.i use it for cooking (pancakes, bread, rice etcetera) and also for drizzling, and it adds a lovely flavor.it's also very smooth.i just wish it had a stronger flavor.this 500ml bottle lasts well even for every day use in my kitchen, and i would say this oil is well priced for the size and quality. i was previously posting double the price for half of the quantity - granted it had the stronger flavor but as i said that isn't available any more.i'm pleased overall, and although it doesn't give the level of flavor i enjoy, it is a nice smooth pleasantly tasting oil that works great for cooking, dipping, or drizzling.if you like good quality organic and a subtle flavor, this is a fantastic choice.

Nice but no unique flavor. If we use it for bruschetta or in pesto, it will be great.
