The iron is high quality, takes about 25 minutes of setup very simple instructions with a paper manual, basically slide in some parts and use the given tools, my small birds love it already started flying around meaning it’s spacious enough for 1-4 small birds, will purchase another one for my new cockatiel but this cage is perfect for my budgies, highly recommend! Should mention these are great for viewing the birds the bars are safe and perfect width too observe and see the birds pretty colors with the sleek appearance, great value friendly option for the sleek iron material in white color!

This cage is pretty nice for a small bird, quaker, conures etc and smaller. Easy to put together and I like the feeder gates and the tray is easily pulled out so you can clean it. It is the minimum size for a SMALL bird. If you can go bigger that’s always better. My bird gets out of cage time so the minimum size cage works for me. I also like something a little easier to transport. Definitely change out the perches to the more natural ones you get at the pet store. Put a couple of toys in there too. Try and give your bird supervised and safe out of cage time. I personally feel like the plastic feeder and water containers are fine too. Just wash daily with hot water. The cage bars are strong enough for a smaller bird. My bird is friendly with family but not sure how he would be with strangers when they have to keep him when we are on vacation. With the feeder gates and pull out tray even a pet sitter can keep my bird when needed because they don’t have to handle him. It’s not super sturdy but I think it’s fine for my Quaker. Also be careful with the cage door because it comes down fast. When your allowing your bird to come out or go in, open the door and use your lock to keep it up, so it doesn’t come down and injure or kill your bird. Update! Still love the cage but if you have a Quaker or escape artist, your bird can definitely get out through the feeder gates you need to lock those as well.

Great cage but birds like to be up high so I put it on the table. The door is too small and hard to reach in to adjust toys. Only for small birds like cockatiel or smaller!

My first cage was really nice but my bird kept escaping when I wasn’t home. I searched for a replacement for a while and found this cage. It has good bar spacing so she cannot fit through them. I will say, the bars are a little flexible so if pressure is applied, they bend. If you had a bird that’s set on getting out, they might still be able to if they’re small. It’s a good size for the money and I like that the wheels were optional to put on or take off. The tray slides out easily and there’s room between the floor of the cage and the pan under. That was a complaint I had with the previous cage, it was hard to pull the tray out and it was shallow space between the floor and the tray making it easy to spill.

No cage, no matter how cheap, is worth loosing a sweet little bird for! We have (well... had) 2 budgies and a green cheek conure that are free roamers around our bedroom. The way this door is designed on this cage is beyond infuriating, as it can't be propped open and removing it is potentially permanent. We had to use a carabiner to keep the door open so the conure can enter her cage and eat. Unfortunately, while we were out of the room the conure managed to somehow unhook the carabiner and the heavy as lead door fell on the happiest and sweetest budgie I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. The door crushed her sternum and broke her wing leading to a very painful and prolonged death, as my fiance was hoping she'd be able to pull through it. (I didn't know she had a broken sternum until after she passed.) Included is a video of the cage door dropping on 2 crackers, which it doesn't just break, it cuts clean through! Now think about how your feathered friend (with toothpick sized bones) would feel if this happens to them! RIP Gwen - You were a beam of happiness that could make someone laugh on the worst day of their life! 💔

We ordered this to take care of our sons cockatiel for several months. The bird is very happy in the cage and is very comfortable. The perches that come with it are trash and should never be included with the cage. A wood dowel is the worst perch for a bird and could lead to injury of the birds feet. So throw them in the wood stove or fireplace. Buy some natural branch perches. The food and water dishes are plastic but very easy to get in and out of the cage. The bird does not chew on or pick at either so they are fine. I would prefer stainless steel but for a few months these are fine. I will be putting 1/8” plexiglass on the food slide door and around the food dish. This will hopefully keep the thrown food and chaff mess more inside the cage. As far as ease of assembly my 16 year old daughter put the entire thing together without any assistance. Is it a good long term cage? No, its just not sturdy or large enough. It will do as a visiting cage for a bird no larger than a single cockatiel. If you’re thinking about a conure or larger get a more sturdy cage. A couple of budgies or smaller birds would love this cage. It comes with wheels but it’s too low to the ground to use them. The size and height of this cage makes the wheels useless if you want to see and interact with your bird(s). To make the birds part of your family you’ll want to sit it on an end table.

Pretty easy to set up, convenient and sturdy enough. It came a little bent but I made it work. I’m using it for rats and it was pretty good space wise considering the price. My ratties love their new home and I personally think it’s okay. It’s only been a few days so I’m not sure about durability. If you want a cheap but functional cage then this is good. It’s okay cleaning wise.

Product is actually a lot more sturdy than I thought. The frame is strong and bars seems sturdy as well. Purchased to downsize my disabled conures cage. She is out most of the day and did not need such a large space. This cage was easy to put together and handled the weight of the platforms I used without deforming. Cons: the track the door slides down on were completely at a 90 degree angle and has not been bent into place to hold the door correctly. I had to actually bend all the bars for the doors into place myself. My biggest dislike of the cage is what we call a guillotine door. The style of door is the most dangerous for birds. Be very cautious and aware any time it is open as one slip can seriously injure your pet as it slides closed as incredible speed. Customer service was great and assisted with the issues I had, however they did say the unbent bars did not affect usage..which is incorrect as the doors were virtually not attached. Overall would purchase again purely because the construction is far better than most cages this size and I feel confident I can repair the defects as needed.
