Great for freezing portions
Work great and a great value for the price. No odd smells, easy to use and clean. Flexible material, but holds shape.

The 1/2-cup size is just what I wanted
I have had these since yesterday morning, so can't comment on durability, but I used one right away and it performed as desired, so I'm pleased so far. I'm a single senior vegetarian, and I like to cook my own food - but not every day. So whenever I make a dish, I freeze 2-3 servings. Over time, I've built up quite a selection in my freezer, including sides such as rice, potatoes, pasta and beans - and it's all cooked and microwave-ready. I first tried freezing servings in little plastic bags, but got tired of trying to get those clean, so I turned to freezer trays. The first trays I bought were cup-size, and they have been perfect for things like soups and stews. The trays are simple to wash. But with some things, I only want a small portion, so I ordered these 1/2-cup trays. When they arrived yesterday, I made a pot of brown rice right away and froze three portions in one of the trays to see how the rice would do. I thought maybe it would simply fall apart when I tried to get it out of the molds. But I got 3 solid blocks of frozen rice. I popped them into a quart-size freezer bag which will be easy to rinse and reuse. So I think these 1/2-cup size trays were a good purchase for me. I'll revise my review if warranted. One word of caution: if you have long fingernails, be careful to use the soft pads of your fingers to work each frozen block up and out of its mold. You can even microwave the tray for a few seconds to make the blocks easier to push out.

Cover difficult
The container itself is wonderful, however, the plastic lid should be made out of silicone rather than a hard plastic. It's difficult to remove if you've frozen the container. Running under water for a few moments released the lid but if it were made out of silicone, it would release easily. I'll continue to use them but wouldn't recommend 100%, I'd recommend 80%

Perfect size
I bought this size silicone freezer molds to make 1/4# sized compound butters. And they are the perfect size for that. I had found a company in New Zealand that makes and sells dehydrated and finely ground fruit packets and used a couple of them to make fruit compound butter. The Meyer lemon powder blended into the butter is really tasty. I used some of it on top of my blueberry pie filling before baking my pie and it was fantastic! These quarter pound sized silicone molds are flexible and easy to fill. The tops fit tightly so there is no freezer burn or nasty freezer taste. The butters popped out of each mold without any difficulty. I definitely recommend these molds for those small things you want to freeze.

Excellent useable size
A few months ago, evacuated our home due to a nearby forest fire. Fortunately, the fire did not reach our house. No electricity for 5 days. Cleaning out both upright garage freezer and kitchen refrigerator/freezer, both of them full of food, made me see $$$$'s floating in the air. This was a good opportunity to reassess storage container types. Am replacing my kitchen's purchased, 'awkward' containers as: - round ones leave too much unused space, compared to square containers which fit neatly side by side - long silicone ones, with 4 or so 'holes' also waste space when even one of the holes is empty ---and, for me, they can be rather messy to add food to, and remove food from, in spite of the firm top edges - some are not dual purpose - for use in both refrigerator and in freezer, or pantry if desired. - ziplock vacuum freezer-type is a two-step process to freeze liquids; first freeze in the right sized, hard sided container, then transfer to the ziplock. I do use ziplocks, but only for oddly shaped and firm foods (meat, vegetables, fruit) Tried a set of both 1 cup, and 1 cup divided Kinggrand containers and am very pleased with them. All of the above problems are not applicable to these silicone storage containers. No problem cleaning in dishwasher - although my preference is to not use a dishwasher to clean firm, non-flexible products as heat can make items brittle. Description on Amazon is right on; every statement has been proven to be true. And, they do cost less than some competitions' products. Am now reordering both types in the larger selling quantity of 4 to each set.

Curry Starters - 5 stars
Nice build - this has been perfect for making curry starters at home. The trays are solidly built, and I love how easy it is to pop out the frozen portions without any hassle. Each tray holds just the right amount for sauces, broths, and stews, so I always have curry bases ready to go. The lids fit snugly, which helps prevent spills and freezer burn. Overall, these freezer molds have been super convenient, and they’ve held up really well with frequent use!

Cute silicone trays but could be longer
I couldn't see these trays before buying them. They are very small. I bought them to use with little mini ice trays. The ice trays are also very small. But these silicone freezer trays are about 2 inches too short to keep from making a mess when dumping ice into them. I haven't tried using these trays in the freezer. (But I learned with the mini ice trays that I can remove ice cubes by pushing on the silicone bottom IF the ice isn't frozen hard. I'm guessing this silicone tray would be the same way -- easy to remove food only if the food isn't frozen very hard.

I have been looking for a good way to freeze batches of food and store them in the freezer with minimal waste of space. These boxes are perfect. I freeze food in this box, then take the food out and put them in reusable bags after that. The cubes stack in the freezer with minimal loss of space. The silicon washes easily, even when used with turmeric and/or tomato it has not stained yet.

I bought these to be able to batch cook soup and freeze it and I am so pleased with them. They are really good quality and I love that they have the metal band inside the top ridge so that they do not bend whilst in the freezer especially if you need to stack them. The lids fit snuggly and again making them not only stackable but also you could leave the food in the freezer in these especially seeing as you get 4 of them. They are easy to pop the frozen food out of and the silicone keeps its shape. They are a bit pricey but definitely worth it for the quality.

Find these very handy. Always make more than needed and using these helps with freezing left overs. Now purchasing more of these. Helps keep freezer tidy as they stack well

These molds are very good, lids fit very tightly, so tight they are difficult to put on when contents are in a liquid state, but for freezing purposes that’s a good thing not a negative. I have others where the lids don’t secure as well, easier to put on, but wouldn’t like to leave them in freezer for as long either. So all in all, these are top notch and worth purchasing.
