Just received mine this morning.
First off, I'd like to say that the shipping was extremely fast. I ordered my trainer Wednesday morning, and here I am today, Thursday morning with it on as I type this review. As far as the fit, it fits exactly the way it's supposed to. I got the L/36 as recommended according to the size chart (the size chart indicates that you are to go by your height and weight, not your actual waist measurement or shirt size, so keep this in mind). It fits very tight; it should be to where it's a bit of a chore to get it on, which it was. However, it didn't take as long as it took some of the other reviewers to get it on. It took maybe about ~5 minutes at best and that's mostly because as I would secure another hook, the previous hook would come undone when I tried fastening from the bottom up. So I started from the top instead and it fastened with no problem and stayed. The cincher is EXTREMELY tight once you get it on. Tight, but not uncomfortable. No, I would not recommend going up a size because doing so would defeat the purpose of this product. This is meant to supplement your workouts and help you shed fat in your mid-section, all while helping to create that coke-bottle shape at the same time and also improving your posture. If you go up a size, yeah, it'll fit you and yeah you might burn SOME calories, but you will not get that coke-bottle effect, and you will never get results at their fullest potential. So go by the sizing chart. There are plenty of them out there if you cannot find it on this page, but make sure you look for the sizing chart specific to the Ann Chery cinchers. If you follow that chart and aren't in denial, you will end up with the right size. Remember that the right size means that it should be a bit tight when you first try to get it on. Also note that it will become a little bit easier to put on the more you wear it, and as you start to lose the inches in your waistline. I didn't really need to lose the inches, but I wanted more support when I exercise, and also wanted to improve my posture a bit. However, loosing an inch or two more wouldn't hurt so I look at it as a bonus. Also of note is that this cincher did not have a strong latex smell; I got the purple one, so I don't know if that's why. I have seen reviewers complain of this. Maybe I got lucky. I am very much satisfied with this product, it fits as intended, and I would recommend it to anyone who can follow simple directions to end up with exactly what you need. I should also mention that this is 100% the authentic waist trainer by Ann Chery and not a knock-off, because believe it or not, Amazon floats those around here and there. The price is also great, and very competitive with those other places on Instagram and such. Plus the shipping is faster than those places (most places I seen on Instagram had super long processing times, PLUS you had to wait for it to actually ship out, so you were looking at a week minimum of turnover time from the moment you place your order), so you have no worries. I think the only place I discovered through Instagram that is remotely reasonable and good with shipping would be YourFashionFrenzy.com. These trainers start at $40 there and they have the 2-row and 3-row versions available. I recommend this item; it does work if you buy your correct size. Do not try to guess it; just get the size that matches your height and weight and when all else fails, get your bra measurement size. My bra measurement size is 36 (the cup size doesn't matter, just the number), so that's what I got, the size 36. If you try to go with your shirt size you will end up with something too small.

I had been experiencing back spasms (it felt like I was convulsing) and twitching in my skin
I appreciate the cooperation of the seller and Amazon has since refunded me for this product. I was informed by ToysnGamesEtc that the order wasn't fulfilled by them but by Amazon. I wish I could post a positive review but I feel it's necessary to share my experience so no one else has to go through what I went and am still going through. I purchased it on 08/09/15 and received it on 08/11/15. I started wearing it on 08/16/15 and wore it for half a day, and then the next days wore it consistently most of the or all day. I worked out in it, etc and removed it once I was finished. Unfortunately, a problem was slowly developing and on 8/20/15 it flared up severely and I ended up in the hospital. I had been experiencing back spasms (it felt like I was convulsing) and twitching in my skin, prickling, pain with a pins and needles sensation, a bumpy red itchy rash developed all over my lower and mid back, my upper abdomen and a bit on my lower abdomen (a day later the rash spread to my legs). It was so painful to the point that I needed to go to the ER for treatment. I explained what I had been doing differently and it was wearing the waist cincher. I brought it with me (I had been wearing it shortly prior to going, I had to rip off most of my clothing due to the pain and prickling because at first I thought something was crawling on me and biting) and they determined it was the root cause due to a substance on the cincher causing a reaction (latex allergy was ruled out as well). I was still experiencing pain but it was getting better since I had left the cincher off completely. I have hyper pigmentation and scarring from the rash that developed (mid and lower back, upper and lower abdomen and legs). Hopefully, through exfoliation, peels and serums I will be able to remove the scarring from most of my body. As far as the waist cincher goes, I didn't see much results due to the fact I wasn't able to wear it for long. The cincher seemed to be of good quality, was packaged well. I ordered a size 36. I'm 5'3", 155 lbs, and my measurements are 34"/31"/38". It fit well, it was tight but that was the point lol. It wasn't too tight, it was actually very comfortable (even through eating with it on. I ate a couple meals while wearing it and experienced no discomfort in regards to digestion). Exercising was much easier because of the back support and I could do more than I could without it. I feel if I didn't receive a faulty product I would have obtained the results I was looking for. After this experience, I refuse to purchase another cincher no matter the brand. I'll stick to saran wraps and wrap myself at home, I know that is safe.

Most of the bad ratings on here were due to not using the ...
First thing i wanna say is MEASURE YOUR WAIST. Do not go by the weight on the chart or by the actual size you are!!!! My waist measured as a 30 so i bought a large which is what the chart said. I am just under 120 pounds and only 5 feet tall but have a beer belly, the chart says i should weigh wayyyyy more than that which is proof to not go by the weight and height. Most of the bad ratings on here were due to not using the size chart correctly. When i first got mine i needed help putting it on like a lot of others. My boyfriend helped me pretty easily. It was definitely tight, but not unbearable. I slept with it on the first night and try to every night now for over a week. The second time putting it on i did it my self. It gets very easy to do your self once you break it in. I am already on the 2nd row of hooks after less than a week!! Im thinking of ordering the medium soon! I try to wear mine as much as possible esp at the gym. It does get annoying sometimes and starts digging into my back after i wear it for very long periods of time. I take a couple hour break everyday from wearing it. It also gets more uncomfortable the more you sit with it on. Luckily i cant sit at my job. One minor complaint which i saw in other reviews is that the bottom part of it is curling a bit under which i notice happens more when i sit. its still a very high quality item. As for it fitting my torso it covered mine almost perfectly. since im so short it Might come up a bit too high but i dont mind. it pushes my boobs up even though i dont have much there but i figure thats a good thing cuz it will help us ladies with sagging. It doesn't cover my love handle area as much as I'd like but oh we'll. if you have a long torso please look at Ann Cherys other trainers. Also for anyone who complained the trainer smells obviously didnt give it any time to break it in. Of course its gonna have a latex smell! It's made of latex! After a few days i couldn't smell it and after a week i cant smell it at all. And you cant smell it under your clothes when you first get it so dont be worried about that. I think the biggest issue i am having right now is that it is giving me a bit of a rash from the constant exposure to latex on my skin. I am not allergic to latex but it can cause contact dermatitis in some people especially after repeated exposure and i practically live in mine. I wear a tight tank top under it which helps a tiny bit, but i still get itchy and a little blotchy especially after i take it off for some reason. So becareful if you think you have an allergy or sensitive skin. I really dont want to stop wearing mine. once i broke it in it is actually nice feeling (minus the slight itching and the digging in my back that happens sometimes) It holds everything in and i feel like i stand straighter. I am using this along with diet and exercise. I feel a lot better after only a week. Im not sure how much this has helped exactly but it had to be doing something along with my diet and exercise cuz i lost an inch in a week. I highly recommend a good diet while using this. There was one day i binged and ate like a pig. It was so uncomfortable! Take it off if your gonna have a big meal. The last negative thing i have to say is i wish this trainer had 3 rows of hooks for prolonged use. Ann chery makes a trainer with 3 hooks but its a longer trainer which is better for longer torsos. I recommend this for anyone looking for something to add to their diet and exercise regimen. I also recommend it to anyone who is just looking for a product to smooth and flatten their tummy out for certain clothing and special occasions. Works great as a girdle. Just dont be lazy and guess your size! Measure your waist and order your size by that and nothing else! Good luck!

Total Review
I bought this waist cincher as a last ditch effort to get the best bikini body possible before my husband and I go off on our first vacation away from the kids in almost a year. I am 5'6", 145 with a 30" waist exactly. I followed the sellers guidelines and ordered a medium. It came and the size read 34 which was already 3" more than my waist size, but when i measured it, it came to almost 26 1/2 inches. After getting it on, it got me down to about 28 1/2" which was already an inch and a half "hidden". Getting it on is a workout in and of itself. I've read that laying down is the best way, but I couldn't see over my breasts, so standing up in front of the mirror was far easier for me. Even though it took a good 10 minutes and a break during, I got it in and once it was on, it was surprisingly comfortable. It definitely helped my posture, but driving was a bit uncomfortable. I do understand the previous reviewers concerns about the over the top pudge. My advice would be to wear a bra that helps tuck that in. I wear mostly sports bras, so it didn't bother me whatsoever. I wore it out to the store and taking my son fishing, and although I did notice it, it wasn't a bother really. I took it off when I got home to take a break and eat, but when i tried putting it back on, it felt twice as hard to get back on. I wore it to work out and even though it did take some getting used to, I was able to do my usual cardio and weight training. When I got back home, I again took it off for a break. I can't imagine sleeping in it the first night, and I'm not trying to go crazy with it all at once. Another review noticed "bumps" right under the seams, and I have realized that the boning seems too small or that it gets stretched further than the boning. If the boning and the actual cincher was even a half inch longer it would be 100 times more comfortable, but me having a longer torso had to sacrifice either my pooch or my underboob from being cinched. I do enjoy it thus far and i will continue to update as time goes on, but for right now, I cannot give it 5 stars. I cannot go #2 with it on. It prevents me from actually "pushing" And I also realized that after only a few hours of using it, the clasps seemed to be worn. I will also measure it after a week to see if it's actually looser or if it has just stretched out. Stay tuned!

Amazing! I wear to the gym everyday!
This is exactly what I was looking for! This is thick, sturdy, & durable, but yet still flexible. I wanted something I could do weight training, cardio, & a variety of core excercises in daily... I finally found it! I had other ones and I was nervous to try another, but I will not order any other kind from here on out. I was worried that with all the movement I would either break the boning or it would roll down like the other kinds that I've owned- this one doesn't! I use it every single day and I've had mine now for 2 months. I use it while I workout for anywhere between 1 hr to 3 hrs daily. It never smells but I still have to handwash often because I sweat each time. Still, it holds no odor and only the underside holds moisture, yet it dries in an hr by hanging out. At 5' 3" & about 210 lbs, and very curvy, I opted to order up. I got the 3x. It was actually very tight the first 2-3 times I put it on. I had to lay on the bed for a couple minutes, start at the bottom and clasp it upwards. It got easier in just a few days to where I simply stood up and sucked in. Now, it takes only the time to connect the hooks (easy!). It has many seriously durable hooks and it is a very strong type of fabric covered rubber-like material w/ a super soft inside. I don't even undo it to use the bathroom. You can flip it up and it stays and you can pull it back down and it stays. I sometimes shimmy mine up to keep in the backfat or slighty shimmy down to hold in my lowest abdominals (depending on what I'm working out that day). But in general, when I'm just walking (and not aiming so much movement to one particular body part) then I'll wear it into stores and it covers all my bases. It just simply makes my whole shape tighter and slimmer looking. So many people comment on my progress. This waist trainer helps that because it constantly reminds you to hold yourself better. I instantly lost 3" above my waist in a couple weeks, making me more "hourglass." I have lost 20 lbs since (w/ only excercise & clean eating) and I still am totally happy w/ this particular trainer. The only thing I wish is that I had 1 more so I could wear one to the gym and one 24/7! I will be getting another soon. You won't regret this trainer!

It works! Long detailed review
I received my waist trainer back in May 17, 2014. It is now August 21, 2014. Since I received my trainer I have been wearing it everyday, all day. I have seen and feel the results. I measured myself prior to wearing it. My measurements: bust: 32" hips: 34" and waist: 24". Two months later I re-measured and now I am: bust: 32" hips: 34" and waist: 22". With the trainer on I my waist looks tiny. I get a really nice hour glass shape. I don't really work out in it. I just go along with my daily routine as usual. I can bend in it just fine. I wear a shirt or something else underneath it, because my belly does sweat. I don't use the cream or gel and I still sweat. My skin seems to be getting tighter on my tummy area too. I eat as I usually do, no diets or special meals. I eat a lot farming stuff actually but with this trainer I feel as my tummy gets smaller and my butt gets bigger. I love it! I am achieving the body I want. I bought the XS in pink with two rows of hooks. I am now on the 2nd row. It is really annoying when someone complains that the waist trainer is "too small" well no sh*t, Sherlock. It's a waist trainer it's suppose to be tight. The sizing is just right as long as you follow the chart. If you can't handle a little compression then this is not the product for you. The reason why the trainer is tighter is because it is going to shape you into that size. If the chart says that according to your measurements you should use an XXL do not order a XS/S use some common sense. Make sure you truly measure yourself prior to making your order and also follow the chart. Please follow the chart. This really works. No exercise is needed or special diet. You can if you want. If you do, you will most likely achieve better and quicker results. It breaks my heart to hear that it didn't work for someone because it was too small -___- because to me that says that 1 they gave up or 2 they did not follow the chart. If you truly want it, you can achieve it. It was good money well invested on my part. I have no regrets. I wish you all the best and I hope this review helped. Good luck!

GREAT PRODUCT! Would recommend certain things though now that I own one
I did a lot of research on this product before bucking up the courage to buy it. I definitely say buy it from Amazon because you can return the item if it doesn't fit whereas the actual Ann Chery site does not let you return any items because they're considered undergarments. I'm 5'4" and roughly 135 lbs with a 24" waist. I'm kind of in the middle between a medium and a small, according to the size chart. I bought the medium(34) and although it fits tight around my lower torso, the first two hooks keep coming undone if I bend over or reach for something because it's too loose. A lot of reviews I've read on here said to go a size up if you were in between two sizes, but honestly I say if you don't have big hips, you could probably go with the smaller size. I probably could've gone with a small, but then it would've been REALLY tight around my lower torso because I have larger hips. What I'm thinking is that I'll wear the medium until it becomes comfortable on the second hook and then sell it used on ebay and buy a small from here. I want to get down to a size 20" waist by the end of this year! The product is great quality! I've only been wearing it a few days and I already feel a change not only in my stomach, but also in my posture. I would recommend this product to anyone who asked! I know it's a bit on the pricey side (at least it is for my teaching salary), but it's worth every penny. Wear it at least an hour a day or more if you can, it causes some back fat to roll over even if you don't have much up there. I also recommend wearing a tank or cami underneath of it because it can get very sticky and itchy if you start to sweat. Great to wear under sweaters during the winter so by the time summer comes around your waist will be cinched to perfection!

Don't go a size bigger!
Received this a few days ago and so far so good. Had a few minor black smudges on it but I figure it's from the black latex closure. Also the ends of the bonings are a little bulky and look weird but other than all that, the product looks, fits, and feels great. I worked out with it today (roller skating) and really felt the localized burn in my belly woohoo! I had a hard time figuring out what size to get.. Everyone kept saying to go a size bigger but I was honestly debating going a size smaller! These things are meant to be tight and SHAPE you so that they can do their job.. If you look at many of the reviews, people say that they were able to get their waist trainers on the second row of hooks within a few days, some even the next day. So just measure yourself as accurately as possible and go by the chart on the actual Ann Chery website, NOT Amazon size chart. If you have trouble getting in on right then and there.. Try again at a different time, like in the morning when you wake up and haven't eaten yet. Trust me, you don't want to buy a bigger size only to find out that you're going to need a smaller one sooner than you realize. I found that going through the reviews and looking at other peoples measurements helped me figure out what size to get.. So here are my measurements just to get an idea for yourself: Sex: F Weight: 112 lbs Age: 22 Height: 5'2" Chest: 32 in Waist: 27.5 in Hips: 38 in I have a very short and straight torso and dont consider myself to have curves at all! I'm relatively petite and fit but have never had a flat stomach or abs. My stomach is where most of my weight gain goes. I got a size S (which is actually an inch or two smaller than my measurements ON A GOOD DAY) and was able to get it on myself. Yes it was tight but the material stretches quite a bit so wiggle your self in there! I've decided I will use this one primarily for exercise and not worry so much about wear and tear and then eventually get the XS for wearing around the house and such.. Maybe even for sexy time (; Enjoy!

Brilliant waist trainer for the petite person
Brilliant waist trainer for the petite person. I am 5ft and a size 8. I purchased the medium after much deliberation and this fit well. I was surprised as many people said go for the smaller size. I would recommend going up a size from the advice on Ann Chery. You could always get used to wearing them and gradually move to the smaller one. I have tried the smaller ones and I can barely breathe. It works. The trainer helps with reducing the desire to eat. I completely went off food! However, it's comfortable enough to keep on all day...but sometimes it can get very uncomfortable (around menstruation).

Talla reducida
Compre esta faja esperando que me quedara como una que tengo que compre hace un año, pero esta llega mas corta y la talla pequeña, queda muy justa, aun así esta bien, pero esperaba que me cubriera un poco mas la cadera y no me quedara como cinturilla ...

Best Waist Trainer
Amazing waist trainer, fit as expected, bought one 4 years ago. Ever since, I've been buying my waist trainer from Ann Chery. It's really the best waist trainer on the market, it sucks everything in and doesn't let anything out. At first, it's true that it's hard to breathe, but you get used to it. I also been using it at the gym and it gave me amazing results!
