13 Inch Palm Rest Cover Skin with Trackpad Protector for 2016 Released MacBook Pro 13" Model A1706 & A1708 with or Without Touch Bar & Touch ID - Space Gray

So I purchased this for the palm rest, I have a late 2016 MacBook Pro space grey model and I saw that the oils from my hands (probably the essential oils I use when I'm a bit stressed) were causing some discoloration on the palm rest area, I didn't use the track pad protector because I didn't need it but I tried it anyway and it works well (it doesn't hinder the haptic feed back or interfere with track pad gestures) but doesn't fit completely across, so I just didn't use it. I followed the instructions provided (clean the palm rest surface off, make sure it's dry...then apply! :D) and I'm very happy! I aligned the protector starting at the divisor line under the bottom row keys it fits pretty well like 99.90%. If you have anything on your palm rest the cover will show an air bubble, so lift it up and try again somehow I missed some weird lent that stuck to the bottom of the protector.The color is slightly off a little more glittery at an angle, but viewed from above it matches well and it gives the area a new texture that feels nice against my palms while my fingers travel along this interesting butterfly keyboard.

I was a little skeptical about this product but I thought it was not too expensive to try. I am glad I did. The product is of very good quality and the color match is almost dead perfect. Perfect enough that you wouldn't really notice it if you didn't know it was applied.Putting it on was extremely easy. Alignment was no problem. The product feels like a thin aluminum cover. It has that kind of rigidity to it which made it very easy to apply. No bubbles, no fuss. I don't see how anyone could put any bubbles under this protective layer. Make sure you clean the area well and take your time.I started as per the instructions and applied the palm guard first and then the trackpad. The whole guard has a slight gritty feels to it. It's quite a bit different feel than the smooth texture of the trackpad. So if any of you prefers the original feel of the track pad, I would not recommend it. For me, I like it. And the whole palm guard and trackpad are now protected.I would purchase again. As a matter of fact I bought two and I will be installing it on my other Macbook.

Great palm protection for Space Grey MacBook Pro 13” w/ Touch Bar. The color of these protectors matches Apple’s Space Grey almost perfectly. These ANTOGOO Palm Rest Cover Skins work just as well as Moshi’s older, discontinued line of similar products, at a fraction of the cost! I was concerned about how well it would match and I’m very pleased to share that they fit and look perfectly. They are also very easy to install because they can easily be re-applied if you can’t align them on the first (or even second) try. Very pleased with purchase!

Nice protection for my new baby (my new MacBook Pro). Not the easiest to install, just go slow, be clean and be patient. Once applied, the covers laid completely flat and are absolutely invisible. The covers have a slightly gritty surface feel, an improvement over stock IMHO. Additionally, touchpad sensitivity is unchanged. And the best part is that 5 years from now my touchpad and palm rest will still look brand new...

Blends in pretty well! Feels durable but time will tell. Either way, my MacBook is protected. Was super simple to install, I actually did it in the dark. no bubbles, no misalignment. Perfect fit. It is a little “scratchy” to use, but obviously it’s not going to feel like the glass trackpad. It doesn’t hinder use or make it harder in any way, the texture of sliding your finger is just “rough.” Recommend.

fits perfectly and almost the exact same color. took a minute to put it on evenly but once I did my boyfriend couldn't even tell it was on there til I pointed it out. didn't lose any sensitivity to the trackpad either, works perfectly.

TIP: Install the trackpad sticker FIRST, and then the palm rest second. The measurements/cuts are a micro measurement off and it really throws everything off. I had to redo this several times. I only resorted to buying this product because the MOSHI company does not have the newer MacBook pro ones. Otherwise I would have preferred MOSHI. This brand is okay and it also doesn't have the color I wanted.

I love this skin. It looks like a perfect match with a nice extremely subtle texture which I really like. I was a bit confused for a while though because I installed the wrist skin as directed which fit perfectly but the trackpad "center" piece was a very very tight fit which I spent a good while trimming to fit, only to find that there was an actual trackpad piece in the box which I had missed. It looks and feels great.
