Storm Glass Weather Station Weather Predictor Barometer Bottle with Wood Base for Home Office Decoration

This Storm Glass Weather Predictor is both beautiful and unique. The clear glass and wooden base give it a clean, elegant look that fits perfectly in my home. I love watching the crystals change, it’s fascinating and makes for a great conversation piece. While it’s more decorative than a precise weather tool, it’s still a fun and eye-catching addition to any space or a thoughtful gift idea.

Bit more effort put into this one than the others that look exactly like it on Amazon. I got it on sale for 14 and change. The box is a very nice presentation box with a quote from "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" which mentions storm glasses on top of it. It has two rubber bands keeping the box together and the padding inside the box is more than adequate. The glass itself is clear and good looking. I set it next to a window and it was already forming crystals for "cold or getting colder" when I put it in a bowl of warm water for 10 minutes to acclimate it like someone said to online. Within hours it had gone full "cold out" mode which it was. However, in the couple of weeks I have had it, it has snowed at least a dozen times. It never switched to the "snow" crystals. So, I don't know about the accuracy yet. I have noticed that when it gets even colder out, the crystals climb up the side of the glass even more. A cheat sheet on what the different crystal formations means comes with it, but I found it to be too small to view easily and not as helpful as others I have Googled. I am going to print one of those out instead. It's very pretty and I am very happy with it. If it ever comes out of "cold" mode, then I will let you know. Put yours next to a window. Don't leave it on a bookshelf in an interior wall or on your coffee table. If I could, I would put it on a window ledge, but none of mine that are really visible are sunless.

I was honestly surprised by how good this is! The quality is great, shipping was quick, and it works exactly as described. Definitely worth it and I would buy again. Please allow it to wait about 2 weeks to adjust in the same exact spot with out moving it so you can get a good reading from it and for the crystals to form

Has literally done NOTHING at all. Looks exactly as it did when purchased 6 weeks ago

This was a Christmas present. I absolutely loved it and she did too. The presence of it in a room is almost magical. Perfect gift!

Doesn’t work. All crystals sit at the bottom regardless of the temperature. Great concept but a waste of money due to it not working.

It hasn't changed since I set ot out. I've made sure the little thingies can move, but nada.
