Great Monitor for a Very Bright Office
This review is for the GC2870C. There are hundreds of reviews, but I wanted to add my perspective. After researching monitors over several weeks, I bought the BenQ for a very bright office at work. My IT department is the worst because they just don't care what workers need; I was using very old 19 inch Dells with terrible viewing angles and low resolution. They also supply very glossy Dell monitors that are practically unusable in a room with a window. What an upgrade is this BenQ monitor! Since I bought this with my own personal funds for use at work, price was an issue, and this monitor for around $160 fit the budget. My office is extremely bright, with a south-facing aspect in a very sunny climate. The south wall of my office is 100% window horizontally, and vertically, there is only three feet at the bottom that is wall and not window. So it's very, very sunny. I do have a black screen I can pull down, but it doesn't black out the room and the sun still shines through it. Plus who wants to sit in a black room for eight to 10 hours a day? This monitor is fabulous in such a bright setting, even without the shade closed. There almost no glare, and images and text are crisp and easily viewed. The wide viewing angle helps tremendously, too. I was having terrible eye strain and headaches with my last monitors due to the glare and the awful viewing angle. So far after half a day, I've noticed a huge difference. I'm no longer squinting to read text. Keep in mind that this model (GC2870H) does NOT have speakers. Not an issue for me in an office where I use headphones. Overall, this is a great value and works well in a very bright office setting using a web browser and office applications. (I played HD video to test it out, and that looks great, too!)

Great productivity and media monitor
I game @ 1440p but watching videos and some games that I can't push 60+fps with @ 1440p don't scale well on a 1440p monitor so I got this primarily for media and a few games. It's perfect for the job. Great contrast, bright, color depth isn't the best but it's serviceable. Overclocked easily to 75hz with no flicker. If you're looking for a large productivity monitor that's bright and crisp this one is great for the price. If you're gaming I would look for a VA panel though, with a higher refresh rate.

Very nice monitor if you want good color reproduction and only 1080p. It's nice and large, easy to see. I would have liked to have had a Display Port input for my Lenovo, but other than that, it is a very good buy.

Great Quality Monitor
I have purchased quite a few of these for my company and I personally use two of them. They are nice and bright, provide a clear image and perform very well. They are a great price for the quality.

Great Quality, Great Price
This is my second BenQ screen, I love the size and color clarity. I edit photos and this is a great screen for that, it stays calibrated for a long time and the colors are always true to the printed version.

Loved the monitor until it quit listening to my computers.
I liked everything about this monitor except ... the HDMI ports stopped functioning within four months. The monitor itself still worked, but had no way of accepting a signal. I had it on a surge suppressor, as well as two computers that fed the two HDMI ports. I conclude that the HDMI adapter in the monitor simply failed. Thus, I reduce five stars to two. I'll replace the monitor, but I cannot bring myself to continue with this brand.

No DVI. No built in speaker. Headphone required. Picture quality excellent though
The picture quality is brilliant and you can adjust it to your liking in the settings menu. I'm using a PS4 and PC with Radeon R9 380 on this monitor. Sad to see it doesn't have a DVI port (VGA is useless for me) though. The sound is bit of a problem since you need to jack in your head phone to hear the sound and to be honest the sound isn't that great unless you have an expensive headphone like Bose or Beats. I have a big complain about the description on Amazon for the GC2870H though - it says that there's built in speakers although that's for the GW2760HL model. You should remove this part since it's misleading. I have ordered a portable usb speaker and hope it will work with the benq model. Also, both HDMI ports are placed behind the monitor and that's very inconvenient because i have to turn it around every time i need to switch the PS4 HDMI input with my Xbox One (yeah i have that as well) HDMI. A port on the side would have been helpful.
