If you are looking for reasons why your prayers are not answered as you would like, this book will help you understand the aspects of prayer that may have been left out of your training. Make no mistake, there are traditions within the Christian community that we all except as "the truth", when they are not. If you are willing to be open to new revelation, then this book is a good place to start. Wouldn't it be great to better communicate with God about our requests and petitions and see them answered? Dr. Jack Hayford has laid out a "better way". He has written a wonderful guide book to prayer that will remove "the mystery". Read with faith and receive new insight into this very powerful weapon.

If you have never heard Jack Hayford pray, you have missed a blessing. It is because of his own life, that I purchased the book. Prayer Invading the Impossible presents false assumptions we make about prayer. It also gives scripture references to confirm God's meaning and purpose for prayer and praise. The Lord's prayer is used as our prayer foundation. To me, reverence, surrender, and worship of our God are the theme of the book.

Simply put this is one of the best books on prayer and especially warfare that I have read. Pastor Jack knows this subject well. It is exciting to read how God has given us all a position in Him that can affect real change using the weapons we have been given and learning to stand in faith in our Lord. I recommend this to every Christian who is serious about their prayer life and their relationship with The Savior. In fact the copy I am reviewing is one I bought to give to a friend.

After I read & re-read the 1st chapter, I wasn't sure whether to continue reading. With encouragement from friends, I labored on only for a paragraph & the concept started to click. It's a fantastic view of prayer I'd never thought of before in over 50 years of being a Christian. Great book I am still enjoying especially after sending some as gifts & discussing its contents with friends & family.

Very insightful and he backs everything up with scripture so you can see what the Word says about this. Highly recommend!
