Arrived earlier than expected- impressive. I am SO IN LOVE with these mini tin paint sets. The colours are absolutely beautiful, and so lovely and creamy to use. As with all w/c paints you must activate with water before use, and dont close the tin while wet, allow them to fully dry first. I am collecting them all, they are so adorable. I'm addicted! Never had a problem with any of them. They arrive promptly, are well packaged, immaculately and individually wrapped, and the colours are out of this world. Buy some! You wont be disappointed!

I bought the Fruit Midsummer paints, they were due to be delivered tomorrow, and they arrived today. I am so happy with these paints they are absolutely beautiful, and the pictures don't really do them justice. They came in a lovely little tin and all individually wrapped. I love them so much I am about to buy the 3 other colours. They are not cheap but they are worth the price, especially as they are hand made. The colours look lovely on watercolour paper and it doesn't take much to make a rich creamy mixture in your palette. When rinsing off my brush I had a swirl of delicate shimmering pigment in my water. You really won't be disappointed if you buy these beautiful paints.

Cute tiny tin! Love it! This is my second set and yes, I likely will purchase more. They're nice paints with a delicate pigment to them. They dissolve well BUT the coverage is a bit iffy, as it often can be with metallic paints, especially when heavily diluted. The shimmer is more granulated than other brands - such as Cosmic Shimmer - but it creates a pleasant twinkly effect which can be used effectively as a highlight over other colours. For the price, they're nice, although as with all things, you get what you pay for. The fact that they come in half pans is ideal to just slot them into a larger palette tin - I like that a lot. I'd recommend them.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I just had to on this purchase. I’d been looking for some metallic watercolours for aaagggeeesss. And had even resorted to inks for a bit (which just don’t flow the same). And then I came across these. I couldn’t decide between the pinks and the blues so I bought them both. First off the packaging is so nice, and the little tins are just perfect!! The magnetic strips in them to hold the half pans still is a lovely touch too! Texture wise these are so so nice to work with, you can basically see the pigment come to life as you work your brush into the colour. They’re creamy and beautiful to use - working as you’d expect from a water colour. Pigment is just dreamy to be honest. You can get a light sheer finish or gently build up the layers. However don’t do what I did at first and try to load the brush, I did get some clumping of the product and it didn’t blend out as nice. These are definitely a slow build paint. Stunning. I’ll definitely buy more!

These paints are just lovely. I have been given some as presents which I have used. They are soft, creamy, rich in color, just beautiful. I have in return given them as presents and the response of friends and family has been exactly the same as my reaction. Just lovely

These paints may be tiny but they’re a great colour and quality. Will definitely buy again in needed.

Good quality and cute box

This set was packed extremely professionally, with every color individually wrapped and labeled so that it couldn't fall out of its half pan. None of the colors were half-empty, like other companies' paints -- it was clear that the maker had added an extra dollop or two after the paint had dried, just to make sure that every pan was completely full. The paints wetted easily and brushed on very thickly. I used black paper, and I didn't have to go over and over to make sure the colors could be seen. In fact, I will have to dilute these paints further to get a sheer wash of color. They shine so brightly that the "night sky" I painted with them glows with color, even on black paper! I'm extremely happy with these paints, and I am very happy to have discovered CSY. I recommended them to my classmates, who were also entranced with these lovely paints. Five stars for quality, packaging, making sure the paints are full, and really lovely, intensely bright and shiny metallic colors!

Please be warned: these paints are not handmade, sold and dispatched from Germany, but they come from China. They might use pigment from Germany, but that is not the same as handmade paint from Germany. And the quality is aboslutely horrendous. They are not watercolour paints whatsoever. The paints are practically dry before your brush touches the paper and they became gloopy within a blink of an eye. It all feels like one big lie and I would advise everyone NOT to buy these paints.

These colors did not disappoint! Most colors in this palette are very pigmented and all colors sparkle and shine. 10/10 would buy again. As far as lightfast, that is unknown. Maybe the description says so. Either way, I am very happy with this little palette. Colors are beautiful and the price is fair. For those looking to dip into Paul Reuben’s Metallic watercolors or Finetec Pearlescent, I would say this is a great alternative!
