Speedo Women's Hooded Aquatic Fitness Robe and Cover-Up, with Full Front Zip

I recently started swimming laps at our aquatic center and needed something to throw over my suit on the way there and to wear home after swimming. I'm in southern California, so I really didn't need or want a big bulky swim parka. This cover-up is just perfect. I don't like tight, or long sleeves and these sleeves are 3/4 and fairly loose fitting. The length is just right (I'm 5'4" and it hits not too much above my knee (I'm also 69 years old and didn't want something too short). The deep side pockets are good to toss my car keys in until I get settled in the locker room and the weight of the cover-up is just right --- not too too light and not too heavy. I wear my bathing suit there with this on top and I am more than comfortable wearing it home after I change out of my suit. I wouldn't call it a "robe" as that makes it sound like it would be sloppy or something you would only wear at home. I would be perfectly comfortable if I had to stop at the store on the way home wearing this. Love it.

I like this style of coverup. Bought it in both black and white colors. Regarding sizing and fit, It is narrow and clingy due to the spandex in it. If you are hippy, get a size up; it runs a tad small. I wear a size 10/Large in clothes. I got the XL in this coverup and it fits fine, just slightly loose over my suit. It is medium weight fabric. Not nylon thin and not terry cloth thick. Think hoodie material. It is long. I am 5'2 and it is hits the bottom of my knees. Which is very good to cover up all of my sexy bits from lurid eyes (LOL, I have no sexy bits). I like the length because at some hotels, especially Vegas resorts, you might have to walk through the casino or very public interior areas to get to the pool. I have literally seen kids with pool toys walking passed slot machines. And have seen women who should have been more covered for setting. I am no prude, but who walks through a lobby wearing only a bikini?! Tacky. I initially didn't want to spend $40 on this. And I still think it's a bit overpriced; you're paying for the Speedo name. $35 should be about the max. That said, with coronavirus running rampant, there is no showering at the pool. Fine by me because I want to avoid the locker room at all cost anyway. So being able to wear this over my suit means I don't have to go into the locker room to dress and undress. I'll have to find something heavier when the weather turns colder but for now this is perfect.

I usually wear a small or medium, as I don’t like things to be too fitted. I originally got this in a medium size, intending it to be used as a swim cover. However it felt very snug and fit like a small. I exchanged it for a large, and it works a lot better for me. I’m sure people like it fitted, but if i had ordered my usual small size, I probably wouldn’t even have been able to zip it up. So I’d say it runs small. The quality is good and the zipper works well! I like the long length, keeping me covered and dry after swimming.

The French Terry cloth is soft, not nubby. The robe is quick drying. It has pockets, (good for stashing your locker key,) a hood that warms wet hair, and UV sun protection. I do wish the sleeves were longer, reaching my wrists. Instead they are 3/4 length. The zipper is excellent. The robe zips up easily, which is great when you're shepherding kids to the pool or beach. The robe falls above the knees which is perfect for summer. I like the carefree, sporty look. It can also double as a bathrobe. I paired it with the slip-proof shoes that protect your toes and the soles of your feet from the ouchy-hot summer sand.

This item was very pricey, but definitely worth it. I saw a lady at the gym wearing one and I really wanted to have something to throw on after I got out of the Jacuzzi and sauna at my local gym. I didn’t want to put sweaty workout clothes back on, and I didn’t wanna look homeless by wearing a bathrobe out of the gym. This speedo zip up cover-up is perfect. I think it will be great for the winter too Cause it has three-quarter length sleeves and a hood. I am 5‘5“ tall and weigh 165 pounds. I chose to order an extra large and I’m glad I did. It fits perfect. It hits me right at my knees And it’s roomy enough to where it doesn’t feel tight. My only complaint is that it has a strong odor coming out of the package. But since I plan on watching it after the gym today, I don’t mind. Super glad I ordered the XL.

finally a robe for summer, I will not use this a a fitness robe but it is the perfect length and material for summer nights. If I have a shrinkage problem I will update this review. The quality of the material and finished seams are excellant!I am 5’, 148 lb with 44” hips and arms a little on the shorter side. Previously ordered the white and Loved it so much decided to order this one. The white is beautiful high quality stretch med weight knit. Has held up extremely well wash after wash. Never got flimsy or soggy stretched out like some knits do. Got the grey today , sleeves are the right length. The sizing mirrors the first. I would say it is almost petite sizing. But material quality is no where near what the white one is. It is almost like a cheep terry on inside and sweatshirt cotton on outside. I can only hope it will hold up. Even if it shrinks slightly That’s ok. Really disappointed in material quality. This is an updated review on the grey robe

Speedo does it again! This is a GREAT poolside cover-up. It runs a little small. I wear a 6 in Speedo swimwear and I ordered this in a large. Besides do you really want your cover to cling to your wet skin. Size up and enjoy this garment. Well made with big side pockets, tie-hooded and zipper front. Dries fast and covers below the butt, without it being too long! Best price on Amazon!

Perfect for lounging around the lake and to keep warm when the weather cools a bit

I am 162cm and 52 kgs. I normally wear Us size 4 or 6, Australian size xs or 6. This fits me as per the product picture. Very happy with it. Wear it to hot yoga everyday. Save me lots of changing time.

I usually wear a size 10 or 12 so the robe was a little baggy for me but apart from that, this robe is just the easiest thing to pull over a swimsuit and look decent when making my way to/from the pool. Wish there were more colour options!

Mido 1.52 y peso 62 kg y compré la talla M. Me llega a la rodilla, no como a la modelo y la manga se queda unos 10 cm antes de mi muñeca. Estoy muy conforme con esa talla, me hace sentir algo abrigada. No es grueso pero es confortable y cálido. Me seco saliendo de la alberca y luego lo pongo encima aún trayendo puesto el traje de baño húmedo y me ayuda a terminar de secarme. Tiene bolsillos! Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Me encantó, tiene una tela muy suave y es súper cómodo, pedí la talla grande y está justo a la medida, vale la pena sobretodo porque práctico natación y es muy práctica para salir de la piscina.
