Do I need a cone to apply this ?

I didn't use a cone. After a couple applications the mange is almost gone. I find it to be a very good product.

Is this a spray or a shampoo?

What you have pictured is a spray for "Hot Spots" on a dogs skin. RenuPlex does have a shampoo to address the same skin issues. The Hot Spot spray can be used multipl times a day if necessary and offer both convenience, treatment of specific spots versus a the shampoo and you can use the spray more frequently than you can typically shampoo your dog. I have use both products every summer on my Chesapeake Bay Retriever who has severe skin issues/allergies. They work for my dog. To be clear, I do not work for the manufacturer in any way. I am simply reporting my experience. I hope this helps and good luck with your pet!

Do put it on when the dog fur is wet or dry?
